-10:10 p.m.: drug abuse. Travious Burns, 20, 325 Kossuth St., was arrested for drug abuse and obstructing official business.

-8:57 p.m.: criminal damaging. Darrin Webb, 51, 629 E. Parkwood St., reported someone damaged the left front quarter panel of his vehicle.

-7:56 p.m.: theft. Sidney Food Town on Wapakoneta Avenue reported the theft of a shopping cart.

-7:09 p.m.: theft. Joyce Schmidt, 73, 9350 Patterson Halpin Road, reported someone possibly stole her husband’s wedding band.

-4:08 p.m.: theft. Charles Jackson, 80, 101 S. Pomeroy Ave., reported someone used his debit card without his consent.

-3:55 p.m.: theft. Barbara Zeek, 78, 423 E. Robinwood St., reported someone took the snow blower from her garage.

-3:34 p.m.: theft. Larry Spence, 69, 430 E. Lyndhurst St., reported someone took various coins from his residence.

-12:39 p.m.: warrant. Shelbi Brandyberry, 29, at large, was arrested on a warrant.

-9:58 a.m.: criminal damaging. Lori Wiseman, 42, 213 W. Pinehurst Drive, reported someone broke the back driver’s side window of his vehicle sometime between Aug. 13 and Aug. 15.

-9:45 a.m.: theft. Helen Roe, 76, 333 E. North St., Apt. 309, reported someone entered her unlocked vehicle and peeled the column away from the ignition and stole her billfold containing $20, her driver’s licence and bank card.

-9:11 a.m.: burglary. Police are investigating the report of a burglary made by Ruth Gallagher, 62, 120 Queen St., that someone damaged the basement window of her residence and took several firearms and ammunition.

-7:54 a.m.: contempt. Levi Fitchpatrick, 20, 632 Linden Ave., was arrested on an outstanding warrant.

-8:22 p.m.: domestic violence. Jasmine Shawler, 29, 836 Park St., was arrested for domestic violence.

-8:18 a.m.: theft. Elvin Stooksbury, 68, 1068 Cinnamon Ridge Lane, reported someone took an adult mountain bike and a child’s bike from his yard overnight.

-3:54 a.m.: criminal damaging. Christy Thornburg, 42, 961 Buckeye Ave., reported someone broke a window at the rear of her residence.

-3:59 p.m.: criminal damaging. Jason Kellem, 42, 230 Jefferson St., Apt. 80, reported someone damaged the doorframe of his apartment.

-3:05 a.m.: criminal damaging. Ezekiel Fugate, 27, 826 Taylor Drive, reported someone put a large dent in the hood and shattered the windshield of his vehicle.

SATURDAY

-7:47 p.m.: theft. Marathon on Fair Road reported a female took a pair of sunglasses without paying for them.

-4:44 p.m.: warrant. Cass Hensley III, 39, 981 Buckeye Ave., was arrested on an outstanding warrant.

-4:40 p.m.: theft. Stacy Mariano, 36, 625 Broadway Ave., was arrested for theft.

-4:40 p.m.: complicity. Donald Campbell, 42, 625 Broadway Ave., was arrested for complicity.

-2:10 p.m.: found property. The Skylight One debit card of Frank Harmon was found and turned into the police department.

-12:47 p.m.: trafficking in drugs. Tisha Engle, 27, 229 Brooklyn Ave., was arrested for trafficking in drugs and possessing criminal tools.

-1:32 a.m.: disorderly conduct. Byran Sims, 25, Minster, was arrested for disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.

FRIDAY

-10:17 p.m.: driving under the influence.Warren Harvey, 21, 7720 Hardin Wapak Road, was arrested for OVI.

-9:16 p.m.: theft. Angela Fleming, 37, 236 Jefferson St., Apt. 6, reported the theft of an apartment key.

-7:45 p.m.: breaking and entering. Gregory Poole, 51, 730 Fourth Ave., reported someone entered the premises and removed several firearms, a motorcycle and fishing equipment.

-5:52 p.m.: receiving stolen property. Jason Nation, 42, at large, was arrested for receiving stolen property.

-5:20 p.m.: grand jury indictment. Lisa Cooper, 50, 418 Elm St., was arrested on an active warrant.

-2:21 p.m.: breaking and entering. Police are investigating the report made by Ashlee Blanke, 31, 700 W. Russell Road, of a breaking and entering.

-2:11 p.m.: theft. Vicki Turner, 56, at large, reported someone removed a stove from 227 Queen St.

-12:13 p.m.: theft. Mary Young, 65, 434 N. Miami Ave., reported someone took a TV, a DVD player and miscellaneous DVDs from her residence between Aug. 6 and Aug. 12.

-9:04 a.m.: burglary. Elisha Roth, 37, 315 Franklin Ave., reported the theft of a flat screen Samsung TV from her residence.

-8:42 a.m.: criminal damaging. Devin Fleming, 30, 94 Brooklyn Ave., reported someone punctured the front tire on his vehicle overnight.

Accidents

Jonathan Morsey, 23, Minster, was cited with assured clear distance ahead after an accident on Monday at 3:15 p.m.

Morsey was westbound on state Route 47 at Interstate 75 when he hit the rear of the vehicle in front of him. Moresey told police his brakes must have failed, but when the police checked his brakes and they appeared fine. The other driver told police the roads were slick.

The driver of the other vehicle was Nancy Roettger, 71, 1150 Doorley Road.

• Philip Freytag, 81, 330 Pinehurst Drive, was cited with right of way turning left after an accident on Monday at 12:23 p.m.

Freytag was traveling northbound on Wapakoneta Avenue and was attempting to make a left hand turn into the driveway of 1243 Wapakoneta Ave. when he pulled into the path of another vehicle traveling southbound at the location causing a collision.

The driver of the other vehicle was Thomas Bey, 67, 536 Foxcross Drive.

• Ramon Zarazua, 65, 3980 Hardin Wapak Road, was cited with starting and backing after an accident on Saturday at 10:51 a.m.

Zarazua was backing out of a parking spot at 125 N. Main St. when he hit the vehicle driven by Jill Heidecker, 30, of Marysville, who was traveling northbound on North Main Street.

• Matthew Grile, 30, 502 Forest St., was cited with assured clear distance ahead after an accident on Friday at 6:13 p.m.

Grile was traveling westbound on Michigan Street when he hit the rear of another vehicle stopped at the light on Michigan Street at the northbound ramp of Interstate 75.

The driver of the other vehicle was Darrell Jones, 66, of Russell’s Point.

• Joshua Harlett, 16, 1287 Tully Drive, was cited with right of way when turning left after an accident on Friday at 7:43 a.m.

Harlett was southbound on Fourth Avenue and was attempting to turn left into the drive of the Sidney High School when he was hit by another vehicle traveling northbound on Fourth Avenue. Initially police were uncertain who was at fault, but after an accident reconstruction was conducted and other matters surrounding the crash were considered, Harlett was issued a citation for an improper left turn.

The driver of the other vehicle was Glenn Schrader, 34, of Lebanon.

• Michael Reier, 69, 10959 Comanche Drive, was cited with improper backing after an accident on Thursday at 3:47 p.m.

Reier was backing up in the 300 block of Enterprise Road when he struck a parked car at the location.

The owner of the other vehicle is Daniel Close, 227 N. Miami Ave.

TUESDAY

-5:57 to 10:31 a.m.: medical. Medics were dispatched on five calls.

MONDAY

-7:33 p.m.: medical. Medics were dispatched to Anna for mutual aid.

-12:22 p.m.: medical. Medics were dispatched on the report of an automobile accident.

-9:55 a.m. to 9:10 p.m.: medical. Medics were dispatched on seven runs.

-6:38 a.m.: medical. Medics were dispatched for the mutual aid.

SUNDAY

-10:20 p.m.: fire. Firefighters were dispatched to 730 Chestnut Ave. on the report of possible electrical problems.

-11:30 a.m.: fire. Firefighters were dispatched to 219 E. Court St. No incident was found upon arrival.

-7:51 a.m. to 8:04 p.m.: medical. Medics were dispatched on seven runs.
