WEDNESDAY

-2 a.m.: domestic violence. Police arrested Randy Hurst, 53, 433 E. Poplar St., on a charge of domestic violence. He allegedly assaulted Valerie Cartwright, of the same address. She had an apparent minor injury.

TUESDAY

-9:09 p.m.: criminal trespass and menacing. Randy McKnight, 722 Michigan St., reported a person came into his home uninvited and threatened him.

-8:48 p.m.: warrant. Police arrested Jacqueline S. Bevans, 64, 219 1/2 S. West Ave., on a warrant from Logan County.

-4:52 p.m.: theft. Luvenia Walker-Clark, of Cincinnati, reported license plates were stolen from her vehicle at Walmart.

-4:36 p.m.: drug abuse. Police arrested Cierra Webb, 19, of Wapakoneta, in the 700 block of Broadway Avenue on charges of drug abuse and possession of drug abuse instruments.

-3:12 p.m.: theft. Gerriann Hemmert, 510 Charles Ave., reported someone entered her unlocked vehicle at her residence overnight and stole a wallet. The wallet contained $5 cash and other items.

-11:37 a.m.: theft. Travis Nelson, 1375 W. Russell Road, reported a cell phone was stolen from desk at 2615 Campbell Road.

-10:55 a.m.: theft. A phone SIM card and vehicle key owned by Dylan Coverstone, 2018 Old English Court, were stolen from 1084 Hazelnut Lane. The items were valued at $61.

-9:34 a.m.: disorderly conduct. Police were called to 132 N. Ohio Ave. on a report of a man and a woman who were drunk and falling into the street. Police arrested Jerilyn Koontz, 41, at large, and Charles T. Price, 54, 220 N. Main Ave., on charges of disorderly conduct.

-8:42 a.m.: contempt. Police served Alexis Roberts, 19, 122 Piper St., with a warrant from Sidney Municipal Court.

Accidents

An accident involving a police cruiser occurred Sunday at 10:56 p.m.

Officer Joshua Divens responded to a call at the municipal swimming pool. He pulled into the grass in an attempt to use the vehicle’s lights to see inside the fenced area. After the breaking and entering call was determined to be unfounded, Divens hit a tree as he was leaving the lawn area. Damage to the vehicle was minor.

• A driver left the scene of a two-vehicle crash Tuesday at 5:57 p.m.

Ashley Post, 22, of Bellefontaine, told police she was backing from a parking space at 2016 Michigan St. when a pickup truck pulled forward and hit her car. The truck then left the scene.
