MONDAY

-2:51 p.m.: property found. A bicycle was found behind 129 E. Court St.

-2:15 p.m.: theft. Sidney Daily News personnel reported 20 newspapers, valued at $25, were stolen from a newspaper machine at 1010 Wapakoneta Ave.

-1:40 p.m.: theft. Cynthia Longcoy, 1527 E. Court St., Apt. D, reported a bicycle, valued at $60, was stolen from her residence.

-8:51 a.m.: contempt. Police arrested Joseph D. Lucas, 28, 502 S. West Ave., on a bench warrant.

-3:26 a.m.: criminal damaging. Phillip Graham, 2365 Collins Drive, reported someone used a key to scratch his vehicle at his residence. Loss was $200.

-1:31 a.m.: vehicle trespass. John E. Dixon Jr., 333 E. North St., reported someone entered his vehicle without permission at 2443 Wapakoneta Ave.

SUNDAY

-6:54 p.m.: assault. Police arrested Jennifer L. Johnson, 44, 431 1/2 S. Ohio Ave., on an assault charge. She allegedly assaulted Macey Arnold, 10088 Schenk Road, at 525 E. North St. Arnold had an apparent minor injury.

-11:54 a.m.: criminal damaging. Archie Carey, 622 S. Miami Ave., reported six tires on two vehicles were cut at his residence. Loss was $300.

-11:04 a.m.: endangering children. Police received a report that a child was left unsupervised about one hour.

-4:21 a.m.: criminal damaging. A police officer found a glass door pane at American Budget, 671 N. Vandemark Road, had been broken. Loss was $300.

-4 a.m.: contempt. Police arrested Cory Johannes, 23, of West Milton, on a warrant.

-12:07 a.m.: theft. Elliot Godwin, 631 S. Ohio Ave., reported a tool set, valued at $200, was stolen from his residence.

SATURDAY

-11:59 p.m.: assault. Brianna Thornton, 604 S. Miami Ave., reported someone assaulted her in the 200 block of East Clay Street. She had an apparent minor injury.

-7:11 p.m.: property found. A debit card belonging to Ben Hager was found in the street. Police were unable to contact Hager.

-6:25 p.m.: theft. Gerald Kolvek, 937 Buckeye Ave., reported a sports sign, valued at $30, was stolen from his front yard.

-1:38 p.m.: drug abuse. Police investigated possible drug abuse during a traffic stop on Grove Street. They found two hypodermic needles.

-9:57 a.m.: property found. An Ohio license plate registered to Amber Latimer was found and placed into police property after unsuccessful attempts to locate Latimer.

-9:56 a.m.: theft. John Little, 219 S. West Ave., reported a bicycle and bike trailer, valued at $75, were stolen from his residence.

FRIDAY

-7:08 p.m.: theft. Christy Browning, 806 S. Main Ave., reported three rings, valued at $1,500, were stolen from a bench at the Arrowhead Apartments pool, 807 Arrowhead Drive.

-4:06 p.m.: misuse of credit card. Loarn Holman, 600 Second Ave., reported someone used his and his wife’s credit cards without permission.

-3:18 p.m.: misuse of credit card. Izaac Millhouse, 123 W. Water St., reported the theft of $106 in cash from his residence.

-2:10 p.m.: property lost. Jordan Duckro, 415 Sycamore Ave., reported a cell phone, valued at $120 was missing.

-2:07 p.m.: theft. Elizabeth Ceyler, 402 N. Miami Ave., reported someone stole a toy wagon and pedal car, valued at $200, from her residence.

-8:27 a.m.: contempt. Police arrested Dominick B. Post, 28, of Fort Recovery, on a warrant from Sidney Municipal Court.

THURSDAY

-7:23 p.m.: burglary. Rebecca Schutte, 320 Grove St., reported three TVs and a video game system, valued at $900, were stolen from her residence.

-3:55 p.m.: misuse of credit card. Raana Thayor, 809 Taft St., reported misuse of her credit card. Loss was $69.83.

Accidents

Peggy A. Hunt, 67, 18130 McCloskey School Road, was cited with improper backing after an accident Thursday at 1:34 p.m.

Hunt backed from a parking space on Miami Avenue, near North Street, and hit a car that was stopped in traffic. The driver of the other auto was Laura C. Benshoff, 45, 1010 N. Miami Ave.

• Aaron R. Johnston, 33, of St. Paris, was cited with failure to maintain an assured clear distance after an accident Friday at 8:50 a.m.

Johnston was westbound on Court Street, at Royan Avenue, and his pickup truck hit the rear of a westbound car driven by Laura K. Brothers, 39, 807 1/2 Brooklyn Ave.

• Ramon A. Howell, 36, 1520 Spruce Ave., Apt. 6, was cited with driving under the influence and failure to control after an accident Sunday at 12:17 a.m.

Howell was eastbound in the 600 block of Fair Road when his car drifted to the right and hit the parked auto of Kevin McLaurin, of Lima. Howell left the scene, but was followed by witnesses until police stopped him.

• Barbara E. Seigle, 74, 2613 Ohio 29 North, was cited with failure to yield the right of way after an accident Friday at 4:58 p.m.

Seigle pulled from the driveway at 201 S. Ohio Ave. and turned left onto Court Street to go west. Her car collided with an eastbound pickup truck driven by Rusty L. Gates, 53, 442 Riverside Drive.

• Carol S. Freisthler, 68, 3110 Bridlewood Drive, was cited with failure to control after an accident Monday at 7:25 a.m.

Freisthler was traveling northeast in the 3000 block of Bridlewood Drive and struck the parked car of Paige Barker, 3066 Bridlewood Drive.

-2:39 a.m.: Medics responded to a call.

MONDAY

-7:17 a.m. to 10:34 p.m.: Medics responded to five calls.

-4:59 p.m.: oven fire. Firefighters were called to 1280 Driftwood Trail to extinguish an oven fire.

SUNDAY

-8:21 a.m. to 11:44 p.m.: Medics responded to 11 calls.

-9:42 a.m.: alarm. Firefighters were called to 400 Canal St. by an alarm.

-9:37 a.m.: alarm. Firefighters were called to 2400 Industrial Drive by an alarm.

-6:59 a.m.: fire. Firefighters were called to 405 E. Poplar St. on a report of a structure fire.
