MONDAY

-4:02 p.m.: burglary. Nathen McConnahea, 25, 121 W. Poplar St., reported a known subject took an Xbox from his residence.

-11:48 a.m.: lost property. Adama Dia, 44, 500 N. Vandemark Road, Apt. 53, reported he lost his passport.

-10:06 a.m.: theft. Crystal Walker, 29, 607 N. Ohio Ave., reported the theft of $11 from the purse in her car at her residence.

-9:41 a.m.: grand jury indictment. Charles Winchester, 31, 306 N. Miami Ave., Apt. C, was arrested on a grand jury indictment.

-8:01 a.m.: found property. A purse containing personal paperwork belonging to Sara Caudill, 25, 811 Clinton Ave., was found at 1445 N. Main Ave. and turned into the police station.

-12:36 a.m.: criminal damaging. Robert Tarlton, 62, 810 Lynn St., reported damage to a piece of siding on his home.

SUNDAY

-8:01 p.m.: unruly juvenile. A 16-year-old male was charge with being unruly in the 300 block of North Miami Avenue.

-3:28 p.m.: criminal damaging. Jeremy Stephens, 40, 605 S. Highland Ave., reported damage to his vehicle.

-11:58 a.m.: theft. Patricia Etheridge, 61, 218 Grove St., reported a known subject took $500 from her bank account.

-11:27 a.m.: warrant service. Police arrested Quentin Blandzinski, 29, at large, was arrested on a warrant out of Shelby County Common Pleas Court.

-11 a.m.: found property. A girls Roadmaster bicycle was found in the 200 block of North West Avenue and placed in the police garage.

-10:18 a.m.: criminal damaging. Richard Young, 54, 1248 Turner Drive, reported damage to his storm door and door frame at his residence.

-8:17 a.m.: criminal damaging. Police investigated the spray painting of the building at Brown Park.

-1:14 a.m.: theft. Walmart reported the theft of alcohol.

-12:43 a.m.: found property. A red and black Next bicycle was found in a yard in the 100 block of Beech Street.

SATURDAY

-11:20 p.m.: burglary. Brian Weimert, 38, 401 Michigan St., reported a possible burglary at his residence.

-7:44 p.m.: theft. Jeff Miller, 47, 229 S. Miami Ave., reported the theft of a mountain bike from his home.

-11:08 a.m.: assault. Justin Lynn, 23, of Piqua, reported, in the 400 block of East Poplar Street, a known person had hit his sister in the face with his fist. Charges were filed and a warrant was requested.

-9:34 a.m.: telephone harassment. Josh Pitts, 42, 404 Cherry St., reported telephone harassment.

FRIDAY

-6:11 p.m.: found property. A red Roadmaster bicycle was found in a yard in the 1000 block of Evergreen Drive and placed in the police garage for safe keeping.

-5:40 p.m.: theft. Crystal Leirer, 31, 824 Park St., Apt. C, reported the theft of a pink book bag, choir book, and cell phone at 120 E. Water St.

-3:57 p.m.: theft. Shana Davidson, 301 S. Main Ave., reported someone entered a vehicle at 2400 Michigan St. and may have taken a pack of cigarettes.

-3:33 p.m.: drug abuse. A baggy of marijuana, cash, and a Swisher Sweet wrapper containing marijuana was recovered as evidence on a traffic stop in the 200 block of South Pomeroy Avenue.

-1:47 p.m.: theft. Glen Madden, 40, 1541 Spruce Ave., reported the theft of a political sign from his front yard.

THURSDAY

-7:41 p.m.: possession of drugs. Patrol units responded with medics to the 700 block of Spruce Avenue for an overdose.

-4:58 p.m.: theft. Ivan Wisecup, 22, 513 Jefferson St., reported various tools were taken from his vehicle in the 500 block of Jefferson Street.

Crashes

Edward Richmond, 69, 836 St. Marys Ave., was cited for starting and backing vehicles after collision on Friday at 10:17 p.m.

Richmond was traveling in the 800 block of St. Marys Avenue when he struck a parked vehicle then left the scene. When he was located he was given a field sobriety test and then arrested for operating a vehicle under the influence, as well.

• Wesley Lutz, 40, 103 Mill St., Botkins, was cited for obedience to a traffic control device after a collision on Friday at 7:01 a.m.

Lutz was traveling eastbound on Court Street at Ohio Avenue when he failed to stop for a red light striking a vehicle traveling southbound on Ohio Avenue.

The driver of the other vehicle was Karl Mielke, 50, of St. Marys.

• Bradley Simonds, 30, 208 Washington St., was cited for starting and backing after a collision on Friday at 5:38 a.m.

Simonds was stopped facing northbound in the left turn lane on Fourth Avenue. In an attempt to give a semitrailer turning south onto Fourth Street more room, Simonds decided to back up. He failed to see the vehicle stopped behind him striking it during backing.

The driver of the other vehicle was Brittany Cornett, 23, 460 Oakleaf Court.

• Robert Kirtley, 48, 1514 Park St., was cited with marked lanes violation after a two-vehicle collision on Thursday at 4:49 p.m.

Kirtley was attempting to make a southbound turn into a private drive on state Route 47 when he turned too sharp and struck another vehicle stopped in traffic headed westbound on state Route 47.

The driver of the other vehicle was Hazel Skeens, 43, of Piqua.

Fire, rescue

TUESDAY

-1:17 to 5:26 a.m.: medical. Crews responded to two calls.

MONDAY

-8:03 p.m.: fire. Firefighters responded to a false fire alarm.

-7:16 p.m.: fire. Firefighters were dispatched on an odor investigation.

-7:07 a.m.: fire. Firefighters were dispatched for a service call.

-12:18 a.m. to 11:35 p.m.: medical. Medics responded to 16 calls.

SUNDAY

-5:40 to 8:09 p.m.: medical. Medics were dispatched on two report of automobile crashes. One was cancelled.

-10:18 a.m. to 9:08 p.m.: medical. Medics responded to eight calls.
