WEDNESDAY

-6:01 p.m.: theft. Sidney Food Mart on Michigan Street reported the theft of a pack of Starburst candy.

-5:14 p.m.: theft. Police are investigating the report of the theft made by Dustin Brown, 34, 422 Riverside Drive, of a U.S. Bank credit card number and $1,500.

-2:23 p.m.: theft. Alisha Johnson, 27, 1375 W. Russell Road, reported the theft of her Percocet and labetalol prescription medication.

-1:20 p.m.: domestic violence. Brian Haney, 20, 925 McKinley Ave., was arrested for domestic violence.

-7:07 a.m.: burglary. Dustin Beard, 33, 219 Brookburn St., reported a 42-inch Vizio flat screen TV and remote, an Onkyo stereo and remote, and an 18-inch sterling silver chain was stolen from his residence.

Crashes

Wayne Vondenhuevel, 59, 249 Ironwood Drive, was cited for starting and backing after a two-vehicle collision on Wednesday at 4:28 p.m.

Vondenhuevel was backing out of a parking spot in front of 112 N. Main Ave. when he hit the rear passenger side of another vehicle traveling northbound on North Main Avenue.

The driver of the other vehicle was Priscilla Wilt, 60, 1681 Westlake Drive.

Fire, rescue

THURSDAY

-4:08 to 10:07 a.m.: medical. Medics responded to four calls.

WEDNESDAY

-5:32 p.m.: fire. Firefighters were dispatched to 897 Johnston Road for an open burn. The fire was not permitted due to a city ordinance.

-12:46 to 2:58 p.m.: fire. Firefighters were dispatched on two false fire alarms.

-8:40 a.m. to 8:27 p.m.: medical. Crews responded to eight calls.
