THURSDAY

-2:05 a.m.: criminal damaging. It was reported the glass door pain of the residence at 314 Shelby St. owned by Mar-Ax Ltd of Huntsville was damaged.

-3:24 a.m.: theft. Randy Hurst, 54, 433 E. Poplar St., reported an attempted theft from his trailer.

WEDNESDAY

-11:54 p.m.: breaking and entering. Remax on North Walnut Street reported someone entered without permission and damaged the back door lock.

-11:25 p.m.: probation violation. Timothy Lamb, 28, 1220 Morris Ave., was arrested for a probation violation.

-3:24 p.m.: criminal damaging. Bryan Hayes, 29, 1019 Hayes St., reported the theft of a tablet, a Dewalt 18-volt hammer-drill, and damage to his car overnight.

-12:09 p.m.: theft. Brandon Dankworth, 23, 656 N. Ohio Ave., reported this vehicle was entered and his keys were taken.

-12:02 p.m.: criminal damaging. Jeffry Reeder, 67, 212 N. Pomeroy Ave., reported two tires on his vehicle were cut.

-8:09 a.m.: theft. Tonia Shepherd, 43, 723 Third Ave., reported her vehicle was entered and her son’s blue book bag was taken.

Crashes

Carole Leffler, 74, 1711 Port Jefferson Road, was cited for failure to control after a crash on Thursday at 5:59 p.m.

Leffler told police she was traveling northbound on Broadway Avenue, was looking at Christmas decorations off to the right of the roadway and when she looked back she realized she was about to hit a parked, occupied vehicle on Broadway Avenue so she swerved but struck the rear driver’s side of the vehicle.

The other vehicle is owned by Ashley Hill, of Maplewood. Hill’s passenger, Jesse Hill, 35, of Maplewood, was transported by Sidney Fire Department to Wilson Health.

• Tammy Bubeck, 58, of Piqua, was cited for marked lanes after a two-vehicle crash on Thursday at 7:57 a.m.

Bubeck was traveling northbound on North Main Avenue in the right lane and as she changed lanes into the left lane she struck another vehicle traveling northbound in the left lane driven by Kristin Frost, 34, 519 Culvert St.

• Allison Harris, 17, 217 E. Edgewood St., was cited with starting and backing after a two-vehicle collision on Wednesday at 12:41 p.m.

Harris was stopped facing southbound on Fourth Avenue at the intersection of state Route 47 at the red light when he backed-up into the vehicle stopped behind him driven by Matt Wyen, 26, 1184 Hazelnut Lane.

FRIDAY

-2:24 to 10:29 a.m.: medical. Crews responded to five calls.

-6:20 a.m.: medical. Medics responded to the report of an automobile crash.

THURSDAY

-5:58 p.m.: medical. Crews responded to the report of an automobile crash.

-11:30 a.m. to 8:41 p.m.: fire. Crews responded to two false fire alarms.

-7:03 a.m. to 9:54 p.m.: medical. Medics responded to five calls.
