Johnson sentenced to 2 years in prison

SIDNEY — A Sidney man received a two-year prison sentence in one of several sentencing cases in Shelby County Common Pleas Court Tuesday.

Judge James Stevenson ordered Jason Johnson, 31, 712 Second St., be remanded to the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction for 24 months for failing to provide a change of address, a third-degree felony.

Kari Beth Howard, 32, at large, was given a 17-month sentence at the Marysville Reformatory for Women for one count of trafficking in drugs, a fourth-degree felony.

Cameron Wilkins, 22, at large, received a 45-day sentence in the Shelby County Jail on one count each of trafficking in drugs, and possession of drugs. Both are fourth-degree felonies.

Stevenson also ordered three people held at the county jail until they can be accepted into the Western Ohio Regional Treatment and Rehabilitation Center in Lima.

They include:

• Brittany Van Horn, 26, at large, one count of attempted tampering with evidence, a fourth-degree felony.

• Jonathan Schaffner, 40, at large, one count of failing to verify his address, a fifth-degree felony.

• Milford Browning Jr., 33, at large, one count of trafficking in drugs, a fifth-degree felony.
