FRIDAY

-12:50 a.m.: warrant. Scot Foreman, 30, 604 Chestnut Ave., was arrested on a warrant and for obstructing official business .

Crashes

Samona Brown, 20, Kettlersville, was cited with assured clear distance ahead following a two-vehicle crash Thursday at 2:39 p.m.

Brown was traveling westbound on Fair Road when she did not stop in time and struck the rear of vehicle stopped in traffic in front of her on Fair Road driven by Amanda Kindle, 31, 676 Hardin Wapak Road.

• Shirley Osbone, 81, 2929 Jonathon Drive, was cited with obedience to traffic control devices at a red light following a two-vehicle crash Wednesday at 6:14 p.m.

Osborn was traveling southbound on Fourth Avenue when she did not stop for the red traffic and struck the westbound vehicle on West Court Street driven by Alexa McVety, 21, of Anna.

• Jacob Jeremiah, 30, 525 Franklin Ave., was cited with unattended vehicle following a crash Wednesday at 10:57 a.m.

Jeremiah was parked at the side of his residence on Franklin Avenue when his vehicle rolled backward from west to east after he failed to set the parking brake and remove the key and struck the front of his residence.

• No one was cited following a two-vehicle crash Wednesday at 10:53 a.m.

Lois Koogler, 79, 200 Mercury Court, was pulling out of the driveway between Applebee’s restaurant and US Bank and turning south onto Vandemark Road. Lydia Zimpher, 18, 17500 Mason Road, was pulling out of the driveway from Kroger parking lot turning south onto Vandemark Road.

Koogler told police Zimpher struck her vehicle when was making a left hand turn from the Kroger parking lot.

Police were unable to determine who was at fault since the vehicles were already moved from the crash scene, video was not available, and other than Koogler’s passenger, there were no other witnesses.

• Peggy Lawson, 84, 707 Dingman Ave., was cited with improper backing following a crash Wednesday at 10:15 a.m.

Lawson was backing from a parking spot from southwest to northeast on South Ohio Avenue when she did not see another vehicle stopped in traffic and struck the vehicle driven by Jimmie Douglas, 68, 11333 Fair Road.

FRIDAY

-12:27 p.m.: medical. Medics responded to automobile crash.

-10:39 to 1:18 a.m.: medical. Medics responded two calls.

THURSDAY

-6:09 p.m.: fire. Firefighters responded to mile marker 88 on Interstate 75 on the report of a grass fire.

-3:42 p.m.: fire. Crews responded to 752 Country Side St. for an electrical issue.

-3:22 p.m.: fire. Crews responded to 625 Broadway Ave. on the report of a possible car fire.

-2:04 p.m.: fire. Crews responded to 2031 Commanche Drive on a false fire alarm.

-10:27 a.m. to 7:27 p.m.: medical. Medics responded to four calls.

-8:32 a.m: fire. Crews responded to 800 S. Kuther Road on a false fire alarm.
