-2:42 a.m.: contempt. Rylee Miller, 19, at large, was arrested for contempt, a probation violation, resisting arrest and prohibitions.

-1:10 a.m.: warrant. Jesse Flever, 38, 2500 S. Vandemark Road, was arrested on an out of state outstanding warrant.

MONDAY

-8:45 p.m.: contempt. Christopher Brown, 28, 219 E. Water St., was arrested on a active warrant.

-4:08 p.m.: possession of drugs. Jeffery Eichelberger, 32, 527 N. Wagner Ave., was arrested for possession of drugs and possessing criminal tools.

-4:46 p.m.: contempt. Charity Wedding, 33, 429 N. Wagner Ave., was arrested for contempt.

-12:18 p.m.: theft. Hulen Wesson, 76, 477 Brooklyn Ave., Apt. 13, reported the theft of $400 from his residence.

-11:33 a.m.: criminal simulation. Pet Valu on Michigan Street reported receiving a counterfeit $10 bill.

-9:32 a.m.: contempt. Randolph Glosser, 38, 826 St. Marys Ave., Apt. C, was arrested on a contempt warrant.

SUNDAY

-8:47 p.m.: criminal simulation. City Carryout on North Ohio Avenue reported receiving a counterfeit $10 bill.

-5:14 p.m.: theft. Save-A-Lot on Michigan Street reported two keys for the front door to the business were stolen.

-12:05 p.m.: criminal damaging. Carl Stewart, 62, Quincy, reported three windows were damaged by a BB gun at his property at 105 Walnut Ave.

SATURDAY

-4:41 p.m.: theft. Alisha Johnson, 27, 1375 W. Russell Road, reported the theft of a Dell laptop computer and a box of miscellaneous tools.

-12:18 a.m.: burglary. Brenda Wellbaum, 59, 134 Pike St., reported a burglary and damage to two queen size mattresses and hardwood floors. The total in damages are $1,600.

-10:07 a.m.: criminal damaging. Janet Sias, 62, 803 Michigan St., reported the left side of her rental vehicle that is owned by Enterprise Rental on South Stolle Avenue was damaged at her residence.

-2:23 a.m.: unnecessary noise. Michael Castle, 36, 749 Clinton Ave., was issued a summons for unnecessary noises.

-12:41 a.m.: driving under the influence. Kristin Kizer, 33, 519 S. Wilkinson Ave., was arrested for OVI.

FRIDAY

-8:13 p.m.: theft. Amber Stotler, 19, 1213 Hilltop Ave., Apt. E, and a 16-year-old male were arrested for theft after Walmart on Michigan Street reported the shoplifting of $27.45 in merchandise.

-6:53 p.m.: contempt. Charles Landrey, 29, Tipp City, was arrested on a contempt warrant.

-3:05 p.m.: assault. Mia Rouse, 36, and Robin Rouse, 27, both of 811 Arrowhead Drive, Apt. K, were arrested for assault.

-1:30 p.m.: contempt. Darin Reineke, 49, 314 N. Ohio Ave., was arrested on a contempt warrant.

-noon: breaking and entering. Brenda Wellbaum, 134 Pike St., reported a breaking and entering of her residence.

-10:22 a.m.: warrant. Lacie West, 25, 7595 Smalley Road, was arrested on a grand jury indictment.

-10:07 a.m.: theft. Christina Meyers, 39, 4195 Frazier Guy Road, reported the theft of 15 Klonopin prescription medication pills.

-9:53 a.m.: unauthorized use of motor vehicle. Myron Parke Jr, 67, 206 Doorley Road, Apt. G, reported the unauthorized use of his Pontiac Grand Prix that was taken out of state.

March 29

-4:07 p.m.: theft. Linda Hammons, 61, 514 W. North St., reported the theft of a Joey DISH receiver, valued at $100.

Crashes

Robert Earnest, 80, 1341 Park St., was cited with assured clear distance ahead after a two-vehicle crash on Monday at 12:34 p.m.

Earnest was traveling southbound on Brooklyn Avenue at the intersection of Court Street when he struck the rear of the stopped vehicle in front of him driven by Andrew Smith, 26, 1135 Hilltop Ave.

• Karyn Bay, 48, 121 E. South St., was cited with improper backing after a crash on Monday at 8:07 a.m.

Bay was backing out of a parking spot at 121 E. South St. when she struck another vehicle on its right rear side that was traveling eastbound on East South Street.

The other vehicle was driven by Nicole Bonnoront, 35, 318 Thompson St.

• Harlan Slife, 20, 801 S. Miami Ave., was cited with failure to control after a crash on Saturday at 3:18 p.m.

Slife was traveling westbound in the 100 block of West Bennett Street when he lost control of his vehicle and side-swiped a legally parked vehicle owned by Richard Johnson, 114 West Bennett St.

• Dustin Ferguson, 27, of Troy, was cited with assured clear distance ahead after a two-vehicle crash on Saturday at 11:54 a.m.

Ferguson had just made a right turn from Fourth Avenue traveling eastbound in the 1100 block on Michigan Street when he struck the rear of the vehicle in front of him that was stopped and waiting to turn into the private drive of 1128 Michigan St.

The other vehicle was driven by Mandy Carpenter, 37, 815 Clinton Ave.

• Kaye Joyce, 63, of Anna, was cited with starting and backing following a crash on Saturday at 4:55 a.m.

Joyce was backing from the private drive at 2550 N. Main Ave. when she failed to see and struck a legally parked and unoccupied vehicle on North Main Avenue.

The other vehicle is owned by Hertz Rental, of Chicago, Illinois.

• Kyle Meyer, 30, 222 W. Poplar St., was cited with failure to control following a crash on Saturday at 4:51 a.m.

Meyer was traveling northbound in the 100 block of South Walnut Avenue when the Sidney Rescue Squad vehicle he was driving struck the mirror of a parked vehicle owned by Brittney Johnson, of Piqua.

• Mickie McGowan, 69, of Botkins, was cited with failure to yield following a two-vehicle crash on Saturday at 12:49 a.m.

McGowan was traveling eastbound on Michigan Street in the left turn lane and was attempting to turn onto the Interstate 75 northbound ramp when she failed to see a westbound vehicle at the I-75 intersection on Michigan Street and collided with the vehicle.

The other vehicle was driven by Cameron Perry, 16, 951 N. Kuther Road.

McGowan was transported to Wilson Health.

• Joshua Ross, 33, 1804 N. Main Ave., was cited with a stop sign violation following a two-vehicle crash on Friday at 3:53 p.m.

Ross was traveling northbound on East Avenue at the Jefferson Street intersection when he ran the stop sign and struck the westbound vehicle on Jefferson Street driven by Ravyn Crall, 17, 325 E. Ruth St.

Ross told police he thought he was at a four-way stop and was watching someone cross the street at the time of the collision.

Crall refused a medical squad but was transported to Wilson Health by her mother.

• Maggie McGowan, 21, 414 E. Lyndhurst St., was cited with assured clear distance ahead after a two-vehicle crash on Thursday at 2:14 p.m.

Ferguson was traveling eastbound in the left lane on Russell Road approaching the intersection of St. Marys Road when he struck the rear of the stopped vehicle in front of him driven by Michael Houser, 48, 605 Thomas Drive.

• No one was cited following a collision on Thursday at 12:40 p.m.

Pasquale Ruiu, 64, of Anna, was backing from a parking spot in the parking lot of US Bank on East Court Street when he struck an unoccupied parked vehicle owned by Robert Rybarczyk, of Lebanon.

Ruiu then left the scene. When he was contacted later, he told police he left because he didn’t see any damages to the vehicles. Police showed Ruiu scuff marks consistent with the paint colors of each vehicle. According to the police report, Ruiu was not cited due to the possibility that he did not know there was damage to the other vehicle.

Fire, rescue

TUESDAY

-4:25 to 8:48 a.m.: medical. Crews responded to five calls.

MONDAY

-7:01 p.m.: fire. Firefighters confirmed a fire investigation.

-4:07 a.m.: fire. Crews responded to 110 W. Court St. to a fire alarm due to an overheated heating, ventilation and air conditioning unit.

-midnight to 11 p.m.: medical. Crews responded to 17 calls.

SUNDAY

-10:34 a.m.: fire. Crews responded to 620 ½ S. Main Ave. for a dryer fire that extended to become a structure fire.

-10:51 a.m. to 7:24 p.m.: medical. Medics responded to six calls. One was for the mutual aid of Houston Rescue.
