Police log

WEDNESDAY

-9:13 p.m.: found property. A blue Easton book-bag containing a Nike baseball glove, two red baseball hats, a child’s jacket and a baseball was found at Custenborder Field on Riverside Drive and was turned into the police department.

-6:03 p.m.: possession of drugs. David Goff, 43, Pemberton, was arrested for possession of drugs and possessing criminal tools.

-5:35 p.m.: found property. A men’s wedding band was found at Flanagan Sport Complex on Riverside Drive and was turned into the police department.

-5:04 p.m.: criminal damaging. Lynn Shough, 48, De Graff, reported two car doors on her vehicle was damaged at 100 S. Main Ave.

-2:38 p.m.: theft. Police are investigating the report made by Katie Walker, 26, 339 N. West Ave., her LG X power cellphone was missing.

-1:02 p.m.: identity theft. Madge Brown, 40, 511 S. Wagner Ave., reported a theft.

-9:11 a.m.: contempt. Jordan Downing, 21, 627 E. Court St., was arrested on a contempt warrant.

TUESDAY

-9:21 p.m.: criminal mischief. A 14-year-old was charged with criminal mischief.

Crashes

Diane Meyer, 66, 202 W. Walnut St., was cited with improper backing following a two-vehicle crash on Wednesday at 12:32 p.m.

Meyer was backing southeast at 102 E. Poplar St. when she failed to see and struck the rear of the westbound vehicle on East Poplar Street driven by Lawrence Murtz, 71, 7564 Cisco Road.

The vehicle driven by Murtz was a transit vehicle owned by the city of Sidney.

Fire, rescue

THURSDAY

-2 to 10:28 a.m.: medical. Crews responded to seven calls.

WEDNESDAY

-4:27 p.m.: fire. Crews responded to 2000 Schlater Drive for a fire alarm.

-2:53 p.m.: ammonia leak. Crews responded to the report of a possible anhydrous ammonia leak.

-1:26 p.m.: assist. Medics responded to assist and individual.

-8:03 a.m. to 11:39 p.m.: medical. Crews responded to 11 calls. One was canceled en route.
