WEDNESDAY

-1:07 a.m.: burglary. It was reported that several people attempted to enter the residence of 1202 Hilltop Ave., and damaged a window, valued at $200.

TUESDAY

-8:11 p.m.: burglary. James Depinet, 43, 514 Second Ave., reported the theft of a Dewalt drill, battery, drill charger and Vizio 32-inch TV.

-5:17 p.m.: theft. Matthew Stansell, 31, at large, was arrested for theft after Tony Blankenship, 51, 701 W. North St., reported the theft of a Beretta handgun from his residence.

-1:21 p.m.: breaking and entering. A juvenile was arrested after it was reported the window frame of the concession stand was damaged and a 60-count box of Airheads candy was stolen from Tawawa Park on Tawawa Drive.

-11:18 a.m.: possession of drugs. Lamar Austin, 33, Flint, Michigan, was arrested for possession of drugs and criminal tools.

-9:40 a.m.: found property. A Visa debit card belonging to John Shedd was found and turned into the police department.

-9:30 a.m.: domestic violence. James Waller, 34, Dayton, was arrested for domestic violence.

MONDAY

-10:05 p.m.: criminal damaging. Ronald Runyon, 69, 314 N. Ohio Ave., Apt. 1, reported his rubber washer hose was damaged.

-1:10 p.m.: theft. John Little, 52, 219 S. West Ave., reported the theft of a Toro push mower, valued at $25.

-12:05 p.m.: theft. Lori Mcelfresh, 52, Piqua, was arrested for theft after Walmart on Michigan Street reported the theft of $40.84 worth of merchandise.

Crashes

Clifford Johnson, 58, Huntington, West Virginia, was cited with failure to control after a crash on Tuesday at 4:58 p.m.

Johnson was traveling westbound on Michigan Street when he turned north into the Walmart parking lot and struck Walmart’s landscape retaining wall, causing damage to the wall and the vehicle.

• Eric Lange, 56, 308 E. Edgewood St., was cited with right-of-way turning right after a crash on Tuesday at 3:09 p.m.

Lange was traveling westbound on East Russell Road at the intersection of Wapakoneta Avenue when he attempted to turn southbound on Wapakoneta Avenue and caused a collision with an eastbound vehicle on West Russell Road that was driven by Adrianna Nichols-Lamber, 23, 2748 State Route 29 north.

Fire, rescue

WEDNESDAY

-1:03 p.m.: wash down. Firefighters responded to wash down the road after a crash.

-7:23 a.m.: crash. Firefighters responded to the report of an automobile crash.

-1:23 a.m. to 2:52 p.m.: medical. Crews responded to seven calls.

TUESDAY

-6:49 to 7:24 p.m.: medical. Crews responded to four calls.

-3:09 to 8:25 p.m.: crash. Crews responded to two automobile crashes.
