TUESDAY

-2:29 p.m.: man with gun. Deputies were dispatched to the Sidney High School on Campbell Road in Clinton Township on the report of a man with gun.

-2:23 p.m.: threat of harassment. Deputies are investigating a report of harassment.

-11 a.m.: theft. Deputies were dispatched to 13091 Luthman Road on the report of an identity theft.

-10:54 a.m.: suspicious car. Deputies were dispatched to the 16000 block of Mason Road in Salem Township on the report of a suspicious car in the area.

-1:51 a.m.: suspicious car. Deputies were dispatched to Wilson Health on Michigan Street on the report of a suspicious car.

MONDAY

-8:47 p.m.: tree down. Deputies responded to the 12000 block of Hardin Wapakoneta Road in Turtle Creek Township.

SATURDAY

-12:30 a.m.: domestic violence. Brett Labrell Taylor, 34, 5977 Hardin Wapakoneta Road, Sidney, was charged with domestic violence and assault. He was arrested at 11:01 a.m. at his residence and transported to the Shelby County Jail.

FRIDAY

-4:48 p.m.: criminal damaging. Jeremy R. Putnam, Conover, reported a tractor was damaged while it was parked in the 20000 block of Suber Road, Sidney. Sometime between 12:01 a.m. Aug. 21 and Aug. 25, someone broke out the left and right side windows of the tractor. Damage to the tractor was set at $1,500.

-8:19 p.m.: threats or harassment. Jackson Center Police are investigating a report of threats or harassment.

SUNDAY

-9:08 p.m.: fight. Fort Loramie Police and Deputies responded to Morrie’s Landing restaurant on state Route 362 in McLean Township on the report of several people arguing and fighting.

Crashes

Van Allen Hawkins, 21, 2805 Wapakoneta Road, Lot 33, Sidney, was cited for failure to control following a one-vehicle crash Saturday at 3:48 p.m.

According to the report, Hawkins was traveling west in the 2000 block of Vandemark Road when he failed to negotiate a curve in the road. Due to his excessive speed, the vehicle went off the west side of the road and struck a 2-foot by 2-foot square mailbox, knocking it over to the ground. The vehicle continued off the roadway and struck a parked car, owned by Michael Williams, 58, of 2555 Vandemark Road, Sidney. Williams’ vehicle was moved its parked location. Hawkins’ vehicle came to a final rest back in the roadway.

Hawkins and a passenger in his vehicle, Joslyn Rae Slone, 17, of Sidney, were transported to Wilson Health by Sidney Medics.

Hawkins’ 2014 Fort Focus was disabled in the vehicle and towed from the scene. Williams’ 1999 Oldsmobile 88 was disabled in the crash.

TUESDAY

-10:47 a.m.: medical. Fort Loramie Rescue and Police responded to the unit block of Dogwood Drive in Mclean Township.

-10:23 a.m.: medical. Anna Rescue and Jackson Center Police responded to the 400 block of Davis Street in Jackson Township.

-6:08 a.m.: medical. Fort Loramie Rescue responded to the unit block of Sawmill Road in Mclean Township.

MONDAY

-3:55 p.m.: crash. Russia and Houston Fire Departments and Houston Rescue and Deputies responded to the 6000 block of Fessler Buxton Road in Loramie Township on the report of a two-vehicle collision.

-1:23 a.m.: medical. Anna Rescue, Fire and Police responded to the 100 block of Brookside Drive.

SUNDAY

-11:01 p.m.: medical. Anna Rescue and Botkins Fire and Police responded to the 300 block of East Walnut Street in Dinsmore Township.

-8:37 p.m.: medical. Anna Rescue and Botkins Police responded to the 100 block of South Mill Street in Dinsmore Township.
