FRIDAY

-12:41 a.m.: discharging firearms. Officers investigated a report of firearms being discharged in the area of Michigan Street and Royan Avenue.

-12:06 a.m.: OVI. Skyla Marie Bolden, 27, Greenwood, Indiana, was arrested for operating a vehicle while under the influence, drug abuse and OVI refusal of a breath test with prior DUI. The arrest took place at the intersection of Michigan Street and Interstate 75.

THURSDAY

-5:32 p.m.: arrest. Gladys M. Davis, Piqua, was arrested on an active warrant. The arrest was made at the Miami County Jail in Troy.

-4:23 p.m.: animal complaint. Officers investigated a report of an animal bite on North Walnut Street.

-2:43 p,m.: criminal damaging. Officials with Ditech Servicing, Dallas, Texas, reported damage at a residence at 1133 Constitution Ave. The drywalls of the residence were damaged. The damage was set at $1,655.

-1:12 p.m.: disorderly conduct. Jacqueline Bevans, 64, 219 S. West Ave., was arrested on a disorderly conduct charge at her residence.

-11:02 a.m.: theft. Jason Williams, Tipp City, reported the theft of a license plate from a vehicle at the Hack Shack, 1300 Wapakoneta Ave., between 4 p.m. Wednesday and 11:02 a.m. Thursday. The dealer plate was valued at $100.

-8:27 a.m.: theft. Adam Kimpel reported the theft of $110 from his vehicle.

WEDNESDAY

-2:14 p.m.: theft. Kimberly Jo Caudill, 230 Jefferson St., reported the theft of a notebook from her residence. The item was valued at $240.

Accidents

Elizabeth A. Castle, 36. of Piqua, was cited for operation without reasonable control following an accident Thursday at 11:20 p.m.

Castle was southbound on North Main Avenue when she struck a parked vehicle owned by Nicholas R. Reier, 903 ½ N. Main Ave. Reier’s 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 received minor damage. Castle’s 2003 Chevy Trail Blazer sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene.

• Christina L. Riddle, 19, 21599 Maplewood Drive, Maplewood, was cited for failure to yield the right of way when turning left following a two-vehicle accident Thursday at 5:11 a.m.

Riddle was turning from westbound to southbound on Vandemark Road when she turned into the path of a vehicle driven by David M. Taylor, 37, 10990 Little Turtle Way, who was traveling eastbound on Michigan Street. Taylor had the green light at the intersection.

Riddle’s 2006 Chrysler mini van sustained disabling damage. Taylor’s 2002 Chevy Camaro sustained minor damage.

• Cain Ruiz, 16, Sidney, was cited for assured clear distance ahead following a three-vehicle accident Wednesday at 2:40 p.m.

Ruiz was traveling eastbound on Fair Road when he struck a vehicle driven by Claire Busse, 16, Piqua, which was stopped waiting for a vehicle driven by Thomas Kemp, 45, 22 Greenback Road, Fort Loramie. Kemp was stopped at a red traffic light.

After the impact, Busse’s vehicle struck Kemp’s vehicle.

None of the drivers were hurt nor were the four passengers in Ruiz’s vehicle, the one passenger in Busse’s vehicle or the one in Kemp’s vehicle.

Ruiz’s 1997 Honda Accord sustained functional damage. Busse’s 2014 Ford Focus sustained minor damage to both the front and rear of the vehicle. Kemp’s 2007 Chrysler Pacifica sustained minor damage.

Fire, rescue

THURSDAY

-11:09 to 11:19 p.m.: medical. Medics were dispatched on two runs.

-9:29 p.m.: carbon monoxide. Firefighters were dispatched to 211 Karen for a carbon monoxide investigation.

-7:10 p.m.: assistance. Medics were dispatched to the 700 block of Arrowhead for assistance.

-6:04 p.m.: standby. Firefighters were dispatched to 2400 St. Marys Ave. for standby,

-2:05 to 5:24 p.m.: medical. Medics were dispatched on two runs.

-1:07 p.m.: accident with injuries. Firefighters were dispatched to an accident with injures at Court and Franklin streets.
