WEDNESDAY

-9 p.m.: driving under the influence. Kent VanFossen, 54, 10901 Thompson Schiff Road, was arrested for OVI.

-6:44 p.m.: burglary. Amanda Couchot, 35, 119 E. Dallas St., reported the theft of a 32-inch Element flat screen TV, valued at $80, and a Samsung blue ray player, valued at $80, from her residence.

-12:17 p.m.: warrant. Sean Lynch, 29, Dayton, was arrested on a contempt warrant.

Crashes

Auanna Edens, 17, Sidney, was cited with operation at stop sign following a two-vehicle crash Wednesday at 5:18 p.m.

Edens traveled eastbound on Hayes Street, stopped at the stop sign, then continued through the intersection of Third Avenue when she struck the northbound vehicle on Third Avenue that was driven by Jerry Stewart, 79, 2558 N. Main Ave.

Sidney Fire Department responded to the scene to assist Eden’s passenger, Kierstein Wilson, 16, Sidney.

Eden’s vehicle sustained functional damage and Stewart’s vehicle sustained disabling damage.

TUESDAY

-5:23 p.m.: crash. Medics responded to an automobile crash.

-9:24 a.m. to 11:30 p.m.: medical. Medics were dispatched to eight calls.
