TUESDAY

-8:04 p.m.: warrant. Christopher Pebler, 37, 834 Third Ave., was arrested on an outstanding warrant.

-6:03 p.m.: misuse of credit card. Police are investigating the report made by Ryan Silxox, 30, 544 Michigan St., of the misuse of a credit card at Chase Bank on Michigan Street.

-5:26 p.m.: theft. Jontez Haithcock, 19, 616 N. Miami Ave., was issued a summons for theft after Nickey Kinnett, 42, of Piqua, reported the theft of her Motorola cell phone, valued at $25. The phone was later recovered.

-10:07 p.m.: warrant. Ashley Kline, 31, of Piqua, was arrested at the Miami County jail on an outstanding warrant out of the Sidney Municipal Court.

-3:43 p.m.: theft. Amanda Studebaker, 36, 747 Chestnut Ave., reported the theft of a 20-inch Kent bicycle, valued at $80, from her residence.

MONDAY

-8:06 p.m.: theft. Bobby Bockrath, 28, 1852 Fair Oaks Drive, reported the theft of an iPod touch at Walmart on Michigan Street.

-5:43 p.m.: juvenile delinquent. Police investigated a juvenile problem at the Amos Memorial Public Library on East North Street, in which a bicycle was reported damaged.

Crashes

Joni Pitts, 62, of Jackson Center, was cited with right of way at private drive after a two-vehicle crash on Tuesday at 6:05 p.m.

Pitts was making a right hand turn when exiting Norcold’s parking lot on South Kuther Road going northbound onto South Kuther Road when she struck the right front end of the northbound vehicle on South Kuther Road driven by James Henry, 51, of Versailles.

Pitts’ vehicle sustained functional damage and Henry’s vehicle sustained disabling damage.

• Merzades Jelks, 16, of Sidney, was cited with assured clear distance ahead after a three-vehicle crash on Monday at 2:41 p.m.

Jelks was traveling northbound on South Main Avenue when she failed to stop in time and rear-ended the vehicle in front of her stopped for traffic that was driven by Emily Sauers, 17, of Sidney. The collision caused Sauers’ vehicle to rear-end the vehicle in front of her that was driven by Shaun Hatfield, 39, 2255 Lefevre Road.

WEDNESDAY

-12:08 to 5:21 a.m.: medical. Medics responded to five calls.

TUESDAY

-8:22 a.m.: assist. Crews responded to assist the police department.

-8 a.m. to 10:28 p.m.: medical. Medics responded to seven calls. Assistance was not needed upon the arrival of one the calls.
