Police log

TUESDAY

-9:24 p.m.: drug abuse. Police found marijuana in a vehicle during a traffic stop at 2110 Michigan St. Chase L. Foster, 25, of Lima, was arrested on a charge of drug abuse.

-7:01 p.m.: drug abuse. Police arrested Timothy R. Anderson, 45, at large, at Dollar General, 166 W. Court St., on charges of drug abuse and possession of drug paraphernalia. Police seized a marijuana pipe, a grinder with a green, leafy substance, and a cigar box. Five fake $20 bills also were involved in the incident. Investigation is continuing.

-5:20 p.m.: theft. Rebecca Macias, 416 Oak Ave., reported a tire and rim, valued at $100, were stolen from the residence.

-5:03 p.m.: theft. A motorist left the Kroger gas station without paying for $11.50 worth of diesel fuel.

-11:01 a.m.: vandalism. Multiple areas at Custenborder Field were vandalized with spray paint.

-7:35 a.m.: theft. The auto of Randall Shroyer, 1188 Superior Court, was stolen from the driveway of the residence overnight. The car was valued at $4,000 and contained tools and golf clubs, valued at $1,500.

-6:24 a.m.: property found. A bicycle was found in the 1300 block of South Main Avenue and given to police.

-5:11 a.m.: theft. Haley Wolfe, 1805 Westlake Drive, reported 20 music CDs, valued at $50, were stolen from her vehicle at her residence.

MONDAY

-10:42 p.m.: driving under the influence. Police arrested Nicole L. Bonnoront, 33, 318 Thompson St., on a charge of driving under the influence.

-9:48 p.m.: theft. Isaac Smith, 409 Michigan St., reported a bicycle, valued at $20, was stolen from his porch.

-5:38 p.m.: assault. A woman reported a juvenile was shot with a pellet gun in the area of North Street and Pomeroy Avenue. The juvenile had an apparent minor injury.

FRIDAY

-12:14 a.m.: criminal damaging. Chad Swan, 415 1/2 S. Miami Ave., reported an interior door at his residence was damaged. Loss was $50.

OCT. 8

-2:16 p.m.: assault. Sabrina Slife, of Troy, reported someone threw a broom and dust pan at her, hitting her leg. The incident occurred at Burger King.

Accidents

Nicole L. Bonnoront, 33, 318 Thompson St., was cited with driving under the influence after an accident Monday at 10:42 p.m.

Bonnoront backed from a parking space at the Fuel Stop, 125 W. Court St., and hit a car that had pulled into the lot. The driver of the other car was Derek Steinke, 19, 9280 State Route 119 West, Anna. Bonnoront provided information to Steinke and left the scene. Steinke and a passenger told police that Bonnoront was intoxicated. Police found her at her residence, determined she was intoxicated, and cited her.

• Debra L. Motter-Oakes, 53, 951 Winter Ridge Drive, was cited with improper backing after an accident Tuesday at 6:30 a.m.

Motter-Oakes backed from her driveway and hit a trailer that was parked across the street. The owner of the trailer was J.R. Edwards Construction, 3100 Schenk Road.

• Two cars collided at the intersection of Ohio Avenue and North Street Tuesday at 9:51 a.m.

Diane M. Gaier, 57, 9190 Barhorst Road, Fort Loramie, was southbound on Ohio and Mark K. Weber, 66, 333 E. North St., Apt. 208, was westbound on North when the vehicles collided. Both drivers said they had a green light at the intersection. There were no witnesses. No citations were issued.

• Ryan Heins, 16, 439 E. Ruth St., was cited with a stop sign violation after an accident Tuesday at 5:21 p.m.

Heins was eastbound on Goode Street, pulled onto St. Marys Avenue, and was hit by a southbound pickup truck driven by Gregory Higby, 43, of Troy.

Fire, rescue

WEDNESDAY

-3:51 to 9:30 a.m.: Medics responded to five calls.

TUESDAY

-8:46 a.m. to 10:38 p.m.: Medics responded to nine calls.

-5:23 p.m.: alarm. Firefighters were called to 1675 Campbell Road by a fire alarm. No problem was found.
