MONDAY

-8:51 p.m.: warrant. Joshua Liette, 30, 946 Port Jefferson Road, Apt. 2, was arrested on an active warrant and Daniel Boyd, 33, 728 Country Side Street, Apt 10, was arrested for drug abuse.

-8:03 a.m.: criminal damaging. Whittier School on Belmont Street reported a cement flower bed had been damaged over the weekend. Damage was set at $500.

SUNDAY

-6:16 p.m.: warrant. Danny Bryant II, 38, at large, was arrested on an active parole warrant.

-5:42 p.m.: criminal trespass. Kyle Smith, 31, 1110 N. Main Ave., was arrested for criminal trespass after the violation was reported at 719 S. Miami Ave.

-10:58 a.m.: domestic violence. Anthony Jones, 51, 414 S. Miami Ave., Apt. B, was arrested for domestic violence.

-2:33 a.m.: driving under the influence. Christopher Rinehart, 38, 1842 Cheryl Place, was arrested for OVI.

SATURDAY

-11:01 p.m.: criminal damaging. Kathy Gonzalez, 60, 5880 State Route 29 east, Apt. 25, reported the windshield of her 2003 Chrysler was damaged from a thrown rock. Damage was set at $250.

-4:40 p.m.: lost property. Austin Snowden, 83, 410 Monterey Drive, reported he lost and later recovered a trailer gate, valued at $25.

-11:51 a.m.: found property. A black Remington wallet, containing a MasterCard credit card and Ohio ID belonging to Allan Ott, 18, 332 N. West Ave., was found in the area of Tawawa Park and was turned into the police department. According to the police report, an attempt was made to return the wallet to Ott’s last known address, but the residence was empty.

-9:26 a.m.: criminal damaging. Papa John’s Pizza on Wapakoneta Avenue reported the exterior door lock on the business was damaged when someone tried to put something in the lock. Damage was set at $100.

FRIDAY

-8:06 p.m.: theft. Lonnie Sowders, 31, 396 S. Wilkinson Ave., reported the theft of $100 from his residence.

-3:49 p.m.: found property. A Visa debit card belonging to Morgan Haas, 26, of Jackson Center, was found and turned into the police department.

-10:41 a.m.: theft. Mae Losey, 59, 408 ½ N. Walnut Ave., reported someone stole her rear license plate from her vehicle parked at her residence.

-9:01 a.m.: warrant. Forrest Fergus, 47, 7468 Tawawa Maplewood Road, was arrested on a warrant.

-6:19 a.m.: found property. A Mutual Federal Savings Bank debit card belonging to Beverly Beard, address unknown, was found at the bank on South Ohio Avenue and was turned into the police department.

-5:29 a.m.: criminal trespass. Police are investigating the criminal trespass report made by Tasha Bundy, 37, 430 Belmont St., that someone she knows trespassed at her residence.

-2:05 a.m.: OVI. Brian Haney, 21, 925 McKinley Ave., was arrested for OVI.

THURSDAY

-2:15 p.m.: theft. Christian Waldroop, 23, 1125 Hilltop Ave., Apt. A, reported the theft of $176 and a food stamp card from her residence.

-9:49 a.m.: theft. Devin Oleary, 32, 664 Fair Road, reported someone stole his checkbook out of his vehicle that was parked at his residence.

Crashes

Lindsey Skeens, 22, of Piqua, was cited for assured clear distance ahead after a two-vehicle crash on Monday at 12:49 p.m.

Skeens was traveling westbound on state Route 47 when she failed to stop in time for stopped traffic and struck the rear of vehicle in front of her that was driven by Audra Hughes, 90, 1721 County Road 25A.

• Barbara Swiger, 88, of Anna, was cited with right of way at private drive after a two-vehicle crash on Saturday at 10:42 a.m.

Swiger was traveling northbound and exiting the parking lot of Goodwill on East Court Street when she struck the eastbound vehicle that was driven by Samantha Phyillaer, 22, 749 Foraker Ave.

• No one was cited after a two-vehicle crash on Saturday at 8:22 a.m.

Devon Wita, 16, of Houston, was facing the east and backing out of a parking spot on the west side of McDonald’s parking lot on Michigan Street when he struck the left rear bumper of the vehicle parked behind him, then left the scene. Police located and cited Wita later for leaving the scene.

The other vehicle is owned by Teresa Mays, 1401 Stephens Road.

Fire, rescue

MONDAY

-4:40 p.m.: open burn. Firefighters responded to an unauthorized burring.

-12:27 p.m.: fire. Crews were dispatched on a fire alarm.

-8:48 a.m. to 9:51 p.m.: medical. Medics responded to nine calls. No incident was found on the arrival of one call.

SUNDAY

-2:51 p.m.: odor. Firefighters conducted an odor investigation in the 700 block of Brooklyn Avenue.

-1:37 to 9:48 p.m.: fire. Crews responded to 456 S. Stolle Ave. on two false fire alarms.

-12:52 p.m.: assist. Medics responded to assist an individual.

-2:56 a.m. to 10:23 p.m.: medical. Medics responded to nine calls.

SATURDAY

-11:43 p.m.: open burn. Firefighters conducted an open burn investigation.

-6:04 a.m.: fire. Crews responded to a fire alarm.

-3:43 a.m. to 10:47 p.m.: medical. Crews responded to eight calls.

FRIDAY

-6:39 p.m.: standby. Medics were on standby for the football game at the Sidney High School.

-3:08 p.m.: fire. Crews responded to a false fire alarm.

-10:20 a.m. to 10:47 p.m.: medical. Medics responded to 11 calls.
