THURSDAY

-12:33 a.m.: drug abuse. Mitchell D. Hudson, 44, 704 Park St., was arrested for drug abuse.

WEDNESDAY

-5:33 p.m.: breaking and entering. Donald LaPoint, 76, 227 Helen Court, reported the possible theft of a black Colombia jacket, which contained a set of keys and an insurance card in the pocket, from his residence.

TUESDAY

-9:52 p.m.: burglary. Ryan Hall, 41, 777 Countryside Lane, reported the theft of a TV, valued at $200, a Magnivox TV, valued at $300, a wooden jewelry box, valued at $100, and miscellaneous jewelry, valued at $500 from the residence.

Crashes

Brandon Edwards, 20, 760 E. Parkwood St., was cited with obedience to traffic control devices after a two-vehicle crash on Wednesday at 6:34 p.m.

Edwards was traveling northbound on Fourth Avenue when he ran the red light at the intersection of West Court Street and struck the rear driver’s side of the westbound vehicle on West Court Street that was driven by Don Ratliff, 66, 1897 Dingman Slagle Road.

Edwards’ vehicle sustained functional damage, while Ratliff’s vehicle sustained disabling damage.

• Kathryn Behr, 58, of Minster, was cited with assured clear distance ahead after a two-vehicle crash on Wednesday at 3:16 p.m.

Behr was traveling westbound in the 2100 block of Michigan Street when she failed to slow for traffic and struck the rear of the vehicle in front of her that was driven by Patricia Luthman, 76, 6996 Stoker Road.

• Paula Coleman, 78, 123 S. Walnut Ave., was cited with obedience to traffic control devices after a two-vehicle crash on Tuesday at 9:34 a.m.

Coleman was sitting at the red light on Fourth Avenue in the right lane facing the south. She told police she was unsure whether she had a green light or a red light.

Destiny Murphy, 23, 1214 Amherst Drive, told police she was traveling westbound in the right lane on Fair Road and had a green light but noticed Coleman was moving toward the intersection, despite having a red light. Murphy said she was uncertain if Coleman was going to stop so she slowed down some but could not slow down enough when Coleman ran the red light and collided into the right side of her vehicle in the intersection.

-5:25 p.m.: service call. Medics responded to assist an individual.

-5:20 p.m.: fire. Crews responded to a false fire alarm.

-3:45 p.m.: fire. Crews responded to a fire call.

-10:48 a.m. to 5:44 p.m.: medical. Medics responded to five calls.

-10:22 a.m.: service call. Firefighters responded to assist an individual.
