TUESDAY

-2:18 a.m.: unruly juvenile. A woman reported a juvenile was being unruly.

-12:42 a.m.: criminal damaging and abusing harmful intoxicants. Police arrested Christopher A. Beard, 37, 525 Wilson Ave., on charges of criminal damaging and abusing harmful intoxicants. The alleged incident occurred at Walmart and involved a can of Ultra Duster. At 3:57 p.m. Monday, police had arrested Beard at 230 E. Poplar St. on a charge of abusing harmful intoxicants. He allegedly was using a can of Ultra Duster.

MONDAY

-7:48 p.m.: theft. Justina Boggs, 311 S. Ohio Ave., reported a cell phone, valued at $700, was stolen from her residence.

-4:02 p.m.: unruly juvenile. Police charged a 15-year-old girl with being unruly. The girl’s mother reported the girl had run away from the residence.

-2:35 p.m.: theft. Personnel at Kroger Fuel reported a man pumped $38.81 worth of fuel into a vehicle and left without paying.

-2:05 p.m.: contempt. Police arrested Lonnie L. Sowders, 29, 619 S. Highland Ave., on a contempt warrant from Sidney Municipal Court.

SUNDAY

-10 a.m.: criminal mischief. Krista Miller, 405 Charles Ave., reported criminal mischief at her residence.

SATURDAY

-9:10 p.m.: theft. Amie Baker, 222 N. Pomeroy Ave., reported alcoholic beverages, valued at $30, were stolen from her residence.

-7:51 p.m.: unruly juvenile. Police investigated a complaint about an unruly juvenile.

-1:54 p.m.: theft. Personnel at Hibbett Sports reported someone stole a jacket, valued at $89, from the store.

-10:46 a.m.: theft. Robert Goings, 625 N. Miami Ave., reported a bicycle, valued at $2,000, was stolen from 211 Forest St.

-5:20 a.m.: drug abuse. Police arrested Brandon Vestal, 32, 108 E. Russell Road, at 1515 N. Main Ave. on charges of drug abuse and possession of drug paraphernalia. He allegedly had baggies containing marijuana and pills.

-12:09 a.m.: disorderly conduct. Police arrested Jay A. Moon, 34, at large, at 1281 Wapakoneta Ave. on a charge of disorderly conduct.

FRIDAY

-9:09 p.m.: theft. Stacey Overton, 922 Spruce Ave., reported jewelry, valued at $400, was stolen from her residence.

-7:50 p.m.: contempt. Police arrested Chris E. Lovett, 38, 221 1/2 N. West Ave., on a warrant from Sidney Municipal Court.

-4:20 p.m.: warrant. Police arrested Derek A. Millhouse, 28, 520 Heather Way, on a warrant from Auglaize County.

-8:56 a.m.: theft. Personnel at Menards reported three knives, valued about $120, were stolen from the store. Police arrested Danny Bryant II, 36, 321 1/2 E. Poplar St., on a theft charge in connection with the theft.

-8:06 a.m.: contempt. Police arrested Donald Dotson, 32, of Waynesfield, on a warrant from Sidney Municipal Court.

THURSDAY

-9:07 p.m.: theft. Shanda Sampson, 940 N. Miami Ave., reported her cell phone, valued at $90, was stolen. She had left the phone on the steps near the sidewalk at her residence.

-4:37 p.m.: domestic violence. Police charged a 14-year-old girl with domestic violence. The girl’s mother told police that her daughter assaulted her. The woman had an apparent minor injury.

Accidents

Bridget J. Foster, 29, 620 Lynn St., was cited with failure to control after an accident Friday at 8:27 p.m.

Foster was stopped on Fair Road behind a vehicle that was waiting to turn left onto Vandemark Road. Foster began to pass the vehicle on the right and struck a pickup truck that had been behind her and was passing her on the right. The driver of the truck was Shawn M. Giacomo, 31, of Covington.

• Uvri Shah, 27, of Troy, was cited with a stop sign violation after an accident Friday at 2:39 p.m.

Shah was westbound on Hoewisher Road and entered the Broadway Avenue intersection, striking a southbound car driven by Mandy Sharp, 37, 1465 E. Court St., Apt. C. The Sidney Department of Fire & Emergency Services responded to the scene and checked Sharp for possible injuries, but did not transport her.

• Benjamin Hamilton, 34, 209 N. Pomeroy Ave., was cited with failure to control after an accident Friday at 4:27 p.m.

Hamilton was northbound on Chestnut Avenue and started to pull to the right to park at 746 Chestnut. The right rear corner of his vehicle hit the left front corner of a parked vehicle. The parked vehicle was owned by Samuel Vorhees, 746 Chesnut Ave.

• Brandyce Peragallo, 22, of New Baltimore, Michigan, was cited with improper backing after an accident Saturday at 2:10 a.m.

Peragallo backed in the 200 block of Helen Court and hit a car parked behind her. The owner of the parked auto was Roger Burns, 1307 S. Main Ave.

• Derrik R. Dumke, 20, 3433 S. Kuther Road, was cited with failure to yield after an accident Sunday at 4:12 p.m.

Dumke was stopped westbound on Campbell Road at a stop sign at Kuther Road. He turned left onto Kuther and hit a car that was southbound on Kuther. The driver of the other auto was James King, 16, 1360 Logan Court. The Sidney Department of Fire & Emergency Services took Dumke and a passenger, Carl Crawford, 19, of Piqua, to Wilson Memorial Hospital. They had possible injuries.

-12:02 a.m. to 5:03 p.m.: Medics responded to nine calls.
