FRIDAY

-1:15 a.m.: theft. Police are investigating a report that a juvenile took a Dodge Journey SUV that was parked in the 500 block of Forest Street.

THURSDAY

-3:58 p.m.: warrant. Rosemarie Hensely, 38, 415 Jefferson St., was arrested on an active warrant.

-1:21 p.m.: found property. A blood test kit was found in the 300 block of East Court Street and was turned into the police department.

-9:31 a.m.: criminal damaging. Homer Jones, 73, 829 N. Miami Ave., reported someone used a rock to break the driver’s side window and put a large dent in the driver’s side door of his vehicle, which was parked at his residence.

Crashes

No one was cited after a two-vehicle crash on Thursday at 7:17 p.m.

Nichole Thompson, 45, 9700 Stangel Road, was traveling northbound on Fourth Avenue at the intersection of state Route 47 in the left hand straight lane when she and the westbound vehicle on state Route 47 in the left land straight lane collided in the intersection.

The other vehicle was driven by Kira Thomas, 17, of Sidney.

Both drivers told police they had the green light.

• No one was cited after a one-vehicle crash on Thursday at 6:20 a.m.

Courtney Lewellen, 31, 1151 N. Miami Ave., was traveling eastbound on Dingman Street at Hill Avenue when her vehicle lost traction on the icy roadway, slid backwards down the hill, went off the south side of the roadway and struck a utility pole.

Fire, rescue

THURSDAY

-3:02 a.m.: fire. Firefighters conducted a smoke detector investigation at 907 Spruce Ave.

-1:11 to 12:40 a.m.: medical. Crews responded to two calls.

WEDNESDAY

-3 p.m.: medical. Crews responded to a call.
