MONDAY

-7:30 p.m.: theft. Police are investigating the report of a stolen vehicle that was made by Alisha Kesler, 28, 127 Pike St., of the theft of her 2007 Honda from her home. The vehicle is valued at $13,000.

-3:58 p.m.: warrant. Kimisha M. Higgins, 24, 236 Jefferson St., Apt. 7, was arrested on an active Miami County warrant.

-12:35 p.m.: theft without consent. Chad New, 45, 1607 Port Jefferson Road, reported the theft of a set of Powerbeats3 wireless headphones from his home without permission. The headphones are valued at $200.

-10:13 a.m.: warrant. Blake E. Nickel, 25, of Piqua, was arrested on outstanding warrants from Piqua.

-9:32 a.m.: theft. Matthew L. Creasey, 30, 1138 Amherst Drive, Apt. A1, was arrested for theft after Walmart on Michigan Street reported the theft of four Xbox One game controllers, which were later recovered.

SUNDAY

-11:07 a.m.: theft. Taylor Mescher, 25, of Sidney, reported a past theft of a Samsung cellphone with a gold and pink phone case, valued at $200, and $3,500, from 1135 Hilltop Ave.

-10:02 a.m.: breaking and entering. Patricia Aviles, 67, 630 Second Ave., reported a past theft of a silver and red tool box, valued at $100, and miscellaneous tools, valued at $500, from her residence.

-5:30 a.m.: theft of a motor vehicle. Sandra Nichols, 48, 711 Second Ave., reported the theft of her 2009 Ford Escape XLT, which was parked at her residence. The vehicle is valued at $10,000

-2:07 a.m.: theft. Police are investigating the report made by Hannah Jones, 25, 1020 Maple St., of the theft of her wallet containing $45 and a credit card from the Dawg Pound Lounge on North Vandemark Road.

SATURDAY

-11:09 p.m.: domestic violence. Layla Bingham, 23, 500 N. Vandemark Road, Apt. 42, was arrested for domestic violence.

-5:58 p.m.: theft. Police are investigating the report of a past theft of $34.97 worth of merchandise from Walmart on Michigan Street.

-4:10 p.m.: criminal damaging. Craig O’Meara, 29, 1117 N. Main Ave., reported his trash bin, valued at $100, was damaged in the past.

-11:40 a.m.: unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. A warrant was issued after the vehicle owned by Virgil Woolley, 71, 558 Bon Air Drive, was reportedly taken and not returned.

FRIDAY

-9:20 p.m.: theft. A police investigation continues after Walmart on Michigan Street reported the theft of a 55-inch TV, valued at $598, and two 2000-watt generators, valued at $488, from the store.

-8:11 p.m.: theft. A vehicle with a child inside was reported to have been stolen. The vehicle and child were found later. A police investigation continues. No other information is available at this time.

-6:31 p.m.: theft without consent. Police are investigating the report made by Julie Sharp, 53, of Sidney, of the theft of her back wallet with diamond studs and gold accents, valued at $20, containing $300, two credit cards, and other miscellaneous cards from Kroger on Michigan Street.

-5:25 p.m.: warrant. Charles Blankenship, 55, 415 Jefferson St., was arrested on a warrant.

Crashes

David Maynard, 41, 529 N. West Ave., was cited with starting and backing after a crash on Friday at 3:55 p.m.

Maynard was backing out of his home’s driveway, which is located on Maple Street, when he struck a legally parked, unoccupied vehicle on Maple Street.

The other vehicle is owned by Idaho Medley, 206 Maple St.

• Andrew Gibson, 29, 1130 Colonial Drive, was cited with assured clear distance ahead after a two-vehicle crash on Friday at 3:12 p.m.

Gibson was traveling westbound on West Russell Road when he was unable to slow down in time and rear-ended the slowed vehicle in front of that was driven by Charles Stockton, 59, 1309 Sixth Ave.

• Amie Baker, 37, of Piqua, was cited with improper lane change after a three-vehicle crash on Friday at 3:09 p.m.

Baker was attempting to merge into the northbound traffic from a parking spot in front of 604 N. Main Ave. when she struck the northbound vehicle traveling in the right lane that was driven by Brenda Mathis, 52, 1502 Lindsey Road. The crash then caused Mathis’s vehicle to collide with the parked vehicle in front of 614 N. Main Ave. that is owed by Christopher Hughes, 941 ½ N. Main Ave.

Fire, rescue

TUESDAY

-6:25 a.m.: mutual aid. Firefighters were dispatched but then canceled for the mutual aid of Maplewood Fire to assist with a CareFlight landing.

MONDAY

-1:41 p.m.: mutual aid. Firefighters were dispatched to B&B Ag-Vantages, Inc. on Miami Shelby Road in Green Township for mutual aid of Port Jefferson Fire Department for a structure fire. The call was canceled en route.

-10:03 a.m.: crash. Crews, including Anna Medics, responded to an automobile crash.

-7:15 a.m to 8:04 p.m.: medical. Crews responded to seven calls.

SUNDAY

-8 to 10 p.m.: carbon monoxide. Firefighters responded to two carbon monoxide calls.

-1:07 a.m. to 11:41 p.m.: medical. Crews responded to 10 calls.

SATURDAY

-5:44 a.m. to 7:47 p.m.: medical. Crews responded to eight calls.

FRIDAY

-11:08 p.m.: gas odor. Crews investigated the report of a gas odor.

-3:17 to 4:20 p.m.: crash. Crews responded to two automobile crashes.

-3:14 to 10:43 p.m.: medical. Crews responded to five calls.
