Police log

THURSDAY

-9:11 p.m.: criminal damaging. Joyce Leiss, 218 Royan Ave., reported the mirror on her car was damaged at 227 S. Ohio Ave. Loss was $150.

-9:04 p.m.: criminal damaging. Laura Henderson, 780 W. Parkwood St., reported someone pushed over a basketball hoop and removed the mailbox from its post at her residence. Loss was $300.

-5:58 p.m.: theft. Michelle Dubose, 10439 Seminole Trail, Lockington, reported her license plate was stolen at 2400 Michigan St.

-5:36 p.m.: criminal damaging. Bobbie Debrito, 554 Campbell Road, reported the gas tank on her car was damaged. Loss was $500.

-4:15 p.m.: possession of drugs. Police seized two capsules containing heroin at 629 N. West Ave.

-4 p.m.: theft. Police arrested Tiffany Van Hook, 25, 600 Second Ave., on a theft charge.

-10:46 a.m.: contempt warrant. Police arrested Logan Kleman, 18, at large, on a warrant from Indiana.

WEDNESDAY

-4:17 p.m.: trafficking in drugs. Police investigated drug trafficking at Washington Street and East Avenue. They seized two bags of marijuana.

Accidents

Savannah R. Gillem, 18, 2033 Wells Drive, was cited with failure to control after an accident Tuesday at 10:04 p.m.

Gillem was westbound on Stratford Drive and failed to negotiate a curve. Her auto went off the roadway and hit a mailbox. The vehicle continued through two front yards and came to rest in the middle of Parkwood Street.

• Billy J. Pultz, 30, 223 1/2 E. Court St., was cited with improper backing after an accident Thursday at 4:44 p.m.

Pultz backed from a parking space on Court Street in front of his residence and hit a car that was stopped in traffic. The driver of the other auto was Mark K. Bronne, 53, of St. Paris.

• Kevin Zimmerman, 62, 12222 Sidney-Freyburg Road, was cited with failure to maintain an assured clear distance after an accident Thursday at 5:24 p.m.

Zimmerman was westbound on Court Street and struck in the rear a car that was stopped in traffic westbound at West Avenue. The driver of the other auto was Robin Boggs, 47, 102 Foster Ave., Quincy.

Fire, rescue

FRIDAY

-12:50 to 11:55 a.m.: Medics responded to four calls.

-7:40 a.m.: carbon monoxide. Firefighters were called to 744 Brooklyn Ave. to investigate a report of carbon monoxide. No problem was found.

THURSDAY

-10:25 p.m.: secure utilities. Firefighters were called to 1215 Hawthorne Drive, where they assisted with securing utilities.

-4:26 to 9:48 p.m.: Medics responded to four calls.
