Upper Valley CC inducts seniors into honor society

PIQUA — The Upper Valley Career Center inducted 73 seniors into the National Technical Honor Society on Monday, Nov. 9, 2015, during Career Technical Student Organization meetings. A reception honoring the NTHS students was held immediately following the induction ceremonies. Representative from each of the associate high schools were invited to attend the reception and congratulate their students.

The NTHS which recognizes career and technical accomplishments has been active at Upper Valley Career Center since 1992. The criteria requires the students to maintain 98% or better attendance and have a 3.5 or better GPA their junior year at the Upper Valley Career Center. Each inductee was also a recommendation by their career-technical instructor based on citizenship and character.

The 2015-16 Upper Valley Career Center National Technical Honor Society members from Shelby County include:
