JC prom features Rustic Romance

JACKSON CENTER — Jackson Center High School juniors and seniors will dance beneath suspended, lighted wagon wheels at their prom, May 5, in the Oaks.

“Rustic Romance” will be the theme for the evening. Dinner will begin at 7 p.m. The king and queen will be crowned at 8 p.m. and a dance with music by Sound Entertainment will follow.

Parents of the junior class will host an after-prom party in the Sidney-Shelby County YMCA in Sidney from midnight to 3 a.m.

Candidates for prom queen are Cassy Reese, daughter of Lisa and Quentin Reese; Haley Rogers, daughter of Melanie and Vince Rogers; and Dailyn Shaffer, daughter of Amanda and Eric Shaffer.

Candidates for prom king are Gavin Booser, son of Margo and Kylan Booser; Bryden Mathis, son of Renee Kopus; and Parker Morris, son of Renee and Mike Morris.
