SIDNEY — Sidney’s Alpha Beta chapter of the International Teaching Sorority, Alpha Delta Kappa, has granted its annual scholarship for 2018. They have announced the names of four college students as recipients of $250 each. Three graduated from Sidney High School and one from Lehman. Uniquely, all their mothers are members of the sorority.

Kendra Dembski, daughter of Fran and Jerry Dembski, is attending the University of Toledo. Kelton Moore, son of Patti and Randy Moore, is attending Cedarville University. Kara Gillman, daughter of Kathy and Kevin Gillman, is attending Bowling Green University. Devin Huffman, son of Ann and Howard Huffman, has attended the University of Cincinnati.

Alpha Beta chapter of Alpha Delta Kappa is a fellowship of women in education, most from Shelby County, who promote educational and charitable projects. They grant this scholarship annually to students in Shelby County who plan to pursue a college degree in the field of Education.
