JACKSON CENTER — “Frozen in Time” has been chosen as the theme for the 2016 Homecoming set at Jackson Center High School.
The Homecoming crowning ceremony is scheduled for Friday, Dec. 11, before the boys’ junior varsity game against Botkins High School, when the candidates for King and Queen and the rest of the court will be introduced.
The Tiger Marching Band, under the direction of Mr. Randy Johnson, will also perform with the program starting at 6 p.m.
The candidates for Queen are: Peyton Esser, daughter of Brad and Candee Esser; Erin Metz, daughter of Jerry and Kathy Metz; and Abigail Meyer, daughter of Doug and Cherri Meyer.
The candidates for King are: Drew Sosby, son of Deron and Sherri Sosby; Kohl Todd, son of Donna Gold and Collett and Adam Todd; and Ethan Zorn, son of Steve and Becky Zorn.
The Freshmen attendants are: Maelee Enochs, daughter of Corby and Monica Enochs; and Isaiah Snider, son of Rex and Crystal Snider.
The Sophomore attendants are: Kennadie Reese, daughter of Jamie and Becky Reese; and Freddy Bunke, son of Steve and Danielle Bunke.
The Junior attendants are: Camryn Hoehne, daughter of Charlie and Candy Hoehne; and Matthew Ross, grandson of Pamela Ross.
Kindergarten crown bearers are: Tatum Reichert, daughter of Bill and Trisha Reichert; and Dane Reese, the son of Jeff and Misty Reese.
The 2015 royalty, Mikayla Ryder and Dalton Faulder, will crown the King and Queen.
On Saturday, Dec. 12, the annual dance, sponsored by the JCHS Student Council, will be held in the small gym from 8 to 11 p.m. for students in ninth through twelfth grade.
