SIDNEY — The Sidney Noon Kiwanis Club has named Lauren Dudgeon its November 2018 Teen of the Month.

Dudgeon is a senior at Fairlawn Local High School, ranking first in her class.

Lauren is the daughter of Lance and Shannon Dudgeon, of Quincy.

Her academic activities, honors and awards include Academia, Student Council, class officer, National Honor Society, FCCLA, Spanish Club, Leadership, honor roll, Honda Academic Achievement, Top of the Class in Math 9, Physical Science, Chemistry and Spanish I.

Her extracurricular, community activities, honors and awards include volleyball, basketball, Softball, choir, Sidney Electric Softball, track, band and a blood drive volunteer. dudgeon has played varsity sports. In basketball she received Most Improved, Best Field Goal Percentage, MVP; in volleyball, Most Improved. In softball, Best Defensive, Best Offensive. She also received honorable nention in basketball.

She plans to attend college to study business.
