RUSSIA — The Russia Local School Homecoming Dance will take place Feb. 6 from 8 to 11:30 p.m. at St. Remy Hall. The crowning ceremony will be Feb. 5 at 6 p.m. in the Clair C. Naveau Gymnasium before the varsity and JV boys basketball games against Jackson Center.
The theme song this year is “Photograph” by Ed Sheeran. All the activities are coordinated by the Class of 2016. The senior emcees and class officers are Amanda Frazier, daughter of Tracy and Jackie Frazier, and Molly Kearns, daughter of Tim and Dee Kearns.
Kindergarten attendants(Crown Bearers): Aryana Cordonnier, daughter of Spencer and Amber Cordonnier, and Carter Hoehne, son of Andy and Katie Hoehne.
Freshman attendants: Anna Fiessinger, daughter of Craig and Stacey Fiessinger, and Gavin George, son of Chris and Joyce George.
Sophomore attendants: Maddie Moorman, daughter of Carrie Schulze and John Moorman, and Dion Puthoff, son of Al and Mary Jo Puthoff.
Junior attendants: Shae Goubeaux, daughter of Wesley and Chandra Goubeaux, and Kevin Drees, son of Gerry and Lynn Drees.
