UVCC names Students of October, Quarter

PIQUA — The Upper Valley Career Center has named Nakkya Ross, a Piqua High School senior, and Gage McCann, a Troy High School junior, as Students of the Quarter for the first nine-week grading period. T

Students earning an Award of Merit designation for Student of the Quarter honors are level one students Rosalyn Weymer and Devon Jones, from Sidney High School; Trenity Foster, from Piqua High School; and Danielle Berning, from Fort Loramie High School.

Level two students recognized for Award of Merit are Shane Bryan, from Bradford High School; Kayla Scott, from Covington High School; Heidi McRill, from Anna High School; and Aleah Frilling, from Fort Loramie High School.

An Honorable Mention recognition is made of Austin Smock, from Jackson Center High School, and Angelica Jenkins, from Piqua High School.

Upper Valley Career Center Student Services Director, Matt Meyer, released the names of the Career Center’s High School Students-of-the-Month for October 2018.

According to Meyer, students from each program are named for the honor. Local students who were recognized are the following:

Anna: Anthony Billing, Allie Skidmore.

Fairlawn: Brittany Strunk, Emily Weigandt.

Fort Loramie: Alexis Fleckenstein, Savannah Henning, Cole Pence, Conrad Siegel.

Houston: Jadeyn Goings, Ethan Schaffner, Adam Winner.

Jackson Center: Avery Allison, Zachary Shaffer.

Russia: Alexis Fairchild.

Sidney: Nathan Topp.
