SIDNEY — Sidney High School Financial Aid Night is scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 11, at 6 p.m. in the SHS auditorium.

This event provides an opportunity for parents and students of seniors to learn about paying for college. Heather Barhorst from the University of Dayton will be here to discuss filling out the FAFSA form and the college financial aid process. Priscilla Wilt will also be here to present the local Barnes Trust Loan Program. SHS counselors will be available to discuss current scholarship offerings. No registration is required. Juniors and their parents are also welcome to attend to learn more information on the subject as they prepare to go into their senior year.

Prior to Financial Aid Night on Feb. 11, SHS counselors will be hosting a College Credit Plus informational meeting for parents and students at 5 p.m., also in the SHS auditorium. This meeting is open to all students in 7-12 grade, and their parents, who are interested in or plan to take college courses.
