Davidson wins JC spelling bee

JACKSON CENTER — Jackson Center Schools annual spelling bee was held Jan. 14, 2016.

Sixty-three students in grades four to eight participated. After several exciting word volleys, the bee was won by eighth-grader Regan Davidson.

The first runner-up was fifth-grader, Alex Enochs, and the second runner-up was eighth-grader, Austin Borchers.

Davidson will represent Jackson Center at the Regional Spelling Bee to be held on March 5, 2016, in Lima.

The school would like to congratulate the winners, and all students who participated, making the Bee a success.
