CINCINNATI — Meghan Jo Safreed, daughter of Mark and Melissa Safreed of Piqua, received academic honors at Mount St. Joseph University by making the University’s dean’s list for each fall 2014 and spring 2015 semester.

A sophomore at Mount St. Joseph University, Safreed is majoring in nursing in the University’s School of Health Sciences. She maintains a cumulative 4.0 grade point average.

She is involved in Campus Ministry, Talent Opportunity Program, and has been selected to the University’s Honors Program.

The dean’s list recognizes the achievement of undergraduates semester by semester. A student must earn a minimum grade point average of 3.5 to be recognized on the Mount St. Joseph University Dean’s List.

She is a graduate of Lehman Catholic High School.
