Sidney school board to meet Monday

SIDNEY — The Sidney City School’s Board of Education will meet Monday, March 7 at 6 p.m.

The board will hear several reports and presentations. From Emerson Elementary, Principal Mike Epperly, will lead a discussion, Brooke Gessler will give a presentation about that state report card, and Mike Watkins will talk about state funding.

They will vote to approve several items during the treasurer’s report. The board will also vote to accept the resignation of a Sidney Middle School cook, Amy Schroeder, and vote to hire several new employees. They will hear and vote on curriculum additions and approve an overnight student trip for the Sidney High School Boy’s Bowling Team.

They will also hear a report from Bill Ankney and Paul Heins about Upper Valley Career Center. An executive session is also on the agenda.
