HOUSTON — The Houston Community Association trustees have selected two Houston High School seniors to each receive $500 college scholarships for 2015.

Kage Brubaker, son of Theresa and Mike Brubaker, and Drake Cassel, son of Tonya and Ricky Cassel, volunteered in excess of 10 hours each to the trustees by helping with the Shelby County Fair food booth, Friday night Pizza Nights, the noodle dinner and/or the turkey/ham dinner. They also helped with the two summer festival food booths that the trustees operate as fundraisers.
