SIDNEY — “A Night in Paradise” is the theme for this year’s Fairlawn Local Schools homecoming celebration that will be held Friday, Dec. 20. The crowning of this year’s queen and king will be held at 6 p.m. before the basketball game against Russia.
The homecoming dance was held Saturday, Dec. 7. The song chosen for this year’s event is “You Are the Reason” by Calum Scott. All festivities are being sponsored by Fairlawn High School Student Council.
Attendants for this year’s homecoming are:
Freshmen Alayna VanHorn, daughter of Darren VanHorn and Haley VanHorn, and Jackson Huelskamp, son of Jack and Jenny Huelskamp.
Sophomores Vaegus Gallimore, daughter of Mike Gallimore and Stephanie Gallimore, and Blake Greiwe, son of Jeromy and Season Greiwe.
Juniors Zoey Douglas, daughter of Brian and Danelle Douglas, and Allan Asher, son of Nick Asher and Tracy Asher.
This year’s queen and king candidates are:
Queen: Grace Weigandt, daughter of Jason and Gwen Weigandt; Jessica Batton, daughter of John and Kristen Batton; MaCalla Huelskamp, daughter of Jeff and Laura Huelskamp; and Kenedee Gallimore, daughter of Mike Gallimore and Stephanie Gallimore.
King: Cade Allison, son of Dean and Cari Allison; Jonah Brautigam, son of Josh and Tricia Brautigam; Garrett Smail, son of Kreig and Debbie Smail; and Garrett Hageman, son of Jason and Gretchen Hageman.
Mistress of ceremony is Jaysmyn Phinney, daughter of Tim and Leslie Hughes.
Master of ceremony is Jordan Henman, son of Mike and Julie Henman.
Representing the kindergarten as junior attendants are Tessa Huelskamp, daughter of Ed and Kirsten Huelskamp; Ella Massie, daughter of Justin and Crystal Massie; Landon Everett, son of Tyler and Stephanie Everett; and Jackson Taylor, son of Michael Taylor and Amanda Werling.
