My senior year has been quite a rocky one, to say the least.
There was a good portion of it where I was really sick and unable to sing due to that. The picture I am enclosing is one of my favorite memories from my junior year.
I had the opportunity to sing the solo in “Light of a Clear Blue Morning” by Dolly Parton all across The Big Apple, in front of one of the top choral directors in the country in Princeton, New Jersey, and in Philadelphia.
While I was unable to sing, and even now, I look back on the lyrics of that song. The lyrics, “Everything’s going to work out fine, everything’s going to be alright, it’s going to be okay,” is the phrase I have been living by recently. SInging all over those places were more than amazing, they were a once in a lifetime experience and I am glad to have been made a part of it.
