From duct tape to shelter dogs

0

RUSSIA — My favorite memory at Russia Local School is making and selling duct tape wallets at recess with Mackenzie and my favorite memory from UVCC is training shelter dogs.

Some of my personal achievements include being inducted into the UVCC National Honor Society, individually qualifying to go to bowling districts my senior year, and being accepted onto and granted a scholarship to bowl with the Huntington University Women’s Bowling Team.

My future goals involve attending Huntington University in Indiana to major in Social Work and minor in Psychology and Sociology. I plan to earn a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work and become an adolescent counselor for children in the social system.

Aside from my academic future, I also plan to adopt a lot of dogs from the animal shelter when the time is right!
