Snowball queen, king crowned

DEGRAFF — Riverside High School has announced its 2021 snowball court. This year’s snowball queen and king are Allison Knight and John Zumberger. Knight is the daughter of Jan and Kevin Knight, of DeGraff, and Zumberger is the son of Deb and Mark Zumberger, of DeGraff.

The senior attendant and escort are Mya Newman, the daughter of Sara and John Newman, of Quincy, and Max Stephens, the son of Kelli and Tom Stephens of DeGraff. The junior attendant and escort are Madelyn Sanford, the daughter of Tara and Dennis Sanford, of West Liberty, and Brody Rhoads, the son of Cindy and William Nicholas, of DeGraff, and Bill Rhoads, of Urbana. The sophomore attendant and escort are Brooke Stevens, the daughter of Dawn and Chuck Stevens, of DeGraff, and Kaleb Schindewolf, the son of Cynthia and Chad Schindewolf, of DeGraff. The freshman attendant and escort are Makayla Mees, the daughter of Amanda and Jason Mees, of DeGraff, and Michael Shockey, the son of Amy and Charles Shockey, of Quincy.

The snowball ceremony took place at 5 p.m. prior to the basketball game against Houston on Jan. 30.
