RUSSIA — The Russia junior-senior prom was held Saturday evening, April 24, at St. Remy Hall. The dinner banquet started at 6:30 p.m. The hall was decorated by the junior class, and the theme that was chosen was “Casino Royale.”
Senior students entertained the juniors, seniors and their dates, senior parents and school staff with the class history, class poem, class prophecy and class will.
The crowning of the king and queen of the junior-senior prom took place after the banquet and speeches.
Queen Hanna Heitkamp is the daughter of Tom Heitkamp and Renea Heitkamp. King Austin Cordonnier is the son of Aaron and Denise Cordonnier.
After prom was held at Russia School from midnight to 1:30 a.m. Activities were planned for all the students, and gifts were awarded.
