JACKSON CENTER — The 2021 Jackson Center Junior-Senior Prom will be held at The Oaks on Saturday, May 1. The theme chosen for this year’s prom — “A Night in Vegas” — will be decorated in red, black and gold, with the an array of casino decor such a dice and playing cards. Dinner catered by “The Spot” will be served at 6:30 p.m. Crowning of the king and queen will be at 8 p.m., followed by the dance with music hosted by DJ’s Spicemasta, of Fort Loramie.

King candidates are Ian Platfoot, son of Jason and April Platfoot and Ksaren Vetter; Trevor Sosby, son of Dwayne and Tina Sosby; Jacob Vetter, son of Greg and Karen Vetter. Queen candidates are Regan Davidson, daughter of Jeff and Janice Davidson; Kennedy Jackson, daughter of Anthony and Stephanie Jackson; and Ashley Mullenhour, daughter of Bryan and Krissy Mullenhour.

Following the dance, parents of the junior class will host an after prom event at the Sidney -Shelby County YMCA from midnight to 3 a.m.
