VHS readies ‘Disney’s Beauty and the Beast’

VERSAILLES — Versailles High School will present its spring musical, “Disney’s Beauty and the Beast,” in the Versailles Performing Arts Center, 280 Marker Road, April 14-16.

Performances will be at 7:30 p.m. April 14, 15 and 16 and at 3 p.m., April 16. There are limited tickets available at $10.50 for evenings and $8.50 for the matinee. They are avalaible at http://vtigers.seatyourself.biz/.

The cast features 57 Versailles students:

Mitchell Rawlins as the beast; Megan VanSkyock, Belle; Isaac Buschur, Gaston; Mason DeMange, Lumiere; Andrew Heckman, Cogsworth; Chloe Rawlins, Mrs. Potts; Abigail White, wardrobe; Lauren Durham, Babette; Quincy Baltes, Maurice; Kyle Wuebker, LeFou; Keegan Rismiller, Chip; Olivia Bruening, Cali Groff and Erin Luft, silly girls; Samuel Eiting, Monsieur D’Arque; Chelsea Groff, enchantress; Brody Hyre, bookseller; Joel Turpen, baker; and Isaac White, young beast.

Chorus members are Lucy Prakel, Grace Carman, Emma York, Megan Rismiller, Cassie Turner, L.J. Keihl, Tessa Tyo, Anna Groff, Conner Reed, Michael Hemmelgarn, Amber Barga, Meladi Brewer, Claire Grillot, Courtney Batten, Dana rose, Lauren Menke, Matthew Cromwell, isabel Rawlins, Matthew Francis, Ben Harshbarger, Derek Rauh, Evan VanSkyock, Collin Rismiller and Brynn Briscoe.

In the children’s chorus are Marcus Briscoe, Max McKibben, Devin Thobe, Tony Moorman, Tyler Barga, Andrew Wuebker,Collin Batten, Michael Menke, Wyatt Fitzwater, Corynn Goubeaux, Caroline Anthony, Ruthie Smith, Danielle Francis and Erica Paul.
