ANNA — German Farmers Mutual Insurance Agency, of Botkins, along with Grinnell Mutual Reinsurance Company, of Grinnell, Iowa, has named Anna Local School senior Avery Bensman, of Anna, as a recipient of a 2016 Road to Success Scholarship in the amount of $1,000.

“We’re happy to recognize Avery’s academic accomplishments and safe driving record through a Road to Success Scholarship. We wish Avery the best in future endeavors,” said Monica Berning, of German Farmers Mutual Insurance Agency.

Bensman was selected from thousands of Grinnell Mutual policyholders based on excellence in the high school classroom and a safe driving record. Bensman’s parents are Dan and Lori Bensman.
