Local students graduate from Heidelberg University

TIFFIN — A total of 235 undergraduates and 38 graduate students officially joined the ranks of Heidelberg University alumni on May 15 during the university’s 163rd Commencement Exercises. Among the graduates were Paige Atterholt, of DeGraff, Ohio, who graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education; and Matthew Tussing of Jackson Center, Ohio, who graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science.

Founded in 1850, Heidelberg offers 30 majors, 29 minors and 10 pre-professional programs, awarding the bachelor of arts, bachelor of science, bachelor of music degrees, as well as master’s degrees in education, counseling, business administration and music.
