ANGOLA, Ind. — Students recently completed their degree requirements at Trine University. About 500 took part in the 2016 commencement ceremony on May 7 in the Keith E. Busse/Steel Dynamics Inc. Athletic and Recreation Center.

A local student earning a degree included Corey Bremigan of Russia, who graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. Cum laude means Bremigan maintained an average GPA of 3.500 with at least 40 semester hours earned at Trine University.

Bremigan was also named to the Spring 2016 Dean’s List. A main campus student must maintain at least 15 credit hours and have between a 3.5 and 3.749 grade point average.
