JACKSON CENTER — Recently Wendy’s recognized Jackson Center High School student-athlete, Cassandra Meyer, for displaying excellence and integrity both on and off the field, naming her as a State Finalist and School Winner in the Wendy’s High School Heisman.

For Cassie, taking the easy way out or cutting corners isn’t an option and Wendy’s is proud to honor her dedication.

The State Finalists will go on to compete for the title of State Winner, where, for the first time ever, one male and one female student from each state also received a Wendy’s High School Heisman Scholarship. Each State Finalist will receive a bronze medal, a Wendy’s High School Heisman State Finalist patch and a $25 Wendy’s gift card. School Winners will receive a certificate and Wendy’s High School Heisman patch. A complete list can be found at www.wendysheisman.com/results/.

Like the Heisman Memorial Trophy, Wendy’s believes in the pursuit of athletic and academic excellence with integrity. Since 1994, Wendy’s and the Heisman Trophy Trust have been running the same play to perfection: honoring more than 600,000 of the nation’s most esteemed students.

Their partnership succeeds because they share a common set of values wherein going above and beyond is the norm. They want to honor students who do the same and profile their stories of perseverance as a way to inspire the tomorrow’s senior class.
