SIDNEY — The registration packet for Fairlawn Local Schools prekindergarten and kindergarten students will be available for pick-up at the school beginning, Feb. 14.

It should be completed and returned to the school office by March 20. It is necessary to have a student registered, complete with photo copies of the child’s birth certificate, immunization record and custody decree-ruling papers, if applicable.

The student screening will take place April 20 from 12:30 to 8 p.m. and April 21 from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Pasco United Methodist Church.

Kindergarten is mandatory by state law; therefore, any child who will be 5 on or before Aug. 1, 2017, will be eligible to attend kindergarten during the 2017-2018 school year.

Any child who will be 4 on or before Aug. 1, 2017, will be eligible to attend prekindergarten during the 2017-2018 school year.
