Instructor-led computer workshops planned

PIQUA — Upper Valley Career Center Adult Division will be offering a variety of computer workshops through hands-on, instructor-led training from beginner (Level 1) through advanced (Level 3). The workshops are designed to provide participants with a lot of material in a short time. The workshops are taught by Kathy Coraspe and Deborah Adkins, with the intent to help individuals brush up on existing skills and master new ones.

“The instructor-led training combines helpful visual aids, hands-on exercises, take-home reference materials, and time to discuss how concepts learned can be applied in real-world scenarios,” said Adkins.

Class offerings include Microsoft Access® 2013, Levels 1-3; Microsoft Excel® 2013, Levels 1-3; Microsoft Word® 2013, Levels 1-3; Microsoft PowerPoint® 2013, Levels 1-3; Windows 8.1®; and Microsoft Outlook®. The workshops will run on various dates and times throughout the months of September, October, November and December. All classes will be held at the Adult Technology Center in Piqua.
