SIDNEY — Twenty-five students in grades 5-8 at Sidney Middle School recently competed in the Geography Bee.

Eighth-grade student Paul Topalov was named the champion with sixth-grader Laina Hitchcock finishing as runner up. Paul is the son of Dr. Miquel and Michaela Topalov. Laina is the daughter of Misty Williamson and Josh Hitchcock.
