Anna senior gets Walter Award

ANNA — Nathan Osborne, a senior at Anna High School, is the 2017 recipient of the Franklin B. Walter All Scholastic Award.

The Midwest Regional Educational Service Center and the Ohio Educational Service Center Association in the name of Franklin B Walter, former state superintendent of public instruction, Ohio Department of Education, give this award annually. One student from each Educational Service Center in the state receives such an award.

The high school guidance counselor in each of the schools within Shelby County nominates a student for this award. Criteria for this selection include the individual’s school and community activities, awards, personal goal statement, grade point average and ACT/SAT score(s).

Osborne has been invited to attend a recognition luncheon at the Crowne Plaza Columbus North-Worthington. He is the son of Jim and Kim Osborne.
