ANNA — In 1945, 27 students graduated from Anna High School.
On Sept. 16, five of those classmates, and their loved ones, gathered for a 70-year class reunion.
Ruth (Liess) Howell, Ruth (Howell) Weber, Larry Thaman, Helen (Meyer) Gushing, and Margaret (Thaman) Helmlinger gathered at Bob Evans to remenice on all the years they’ve had.
There are nine classmates still alive. The one’s that couldn’t make it to the reunion were Margarite (Mittamier) Resser, Elsie (Fogt) Alers, Harriet (Cleaves) Grieve, and George Schmitz.
The five who made it wanted to extend warm wishes to those that couldn’t and say that they were missed.
